This season you’ll be competing in two teams. When the game starts, a challenge will determine two players that will pick their teams.

Checkpoints are the main challenges in this game. At each checkpoint challenge, at least 1 player will earn immunity in the form of a Life Vest. Checkpoint challenges will be mostly live or semi-live. In some cases, the worst performers in the Checkpoint may be up for elimination.

Each Checkpoint, both teams must nominate a captain. If their team wins, the captain will nominate someone from their own team to face the Airlock. The losing team will have 30 minutes to vote for one team member to face the Airlock. If a team cannot agree on a captain, Chatzy will choose for them. This process may be different during certain rounds depending on twists.

Airlocks are elimination duels. They may take place 1 on 1 or in pairs. Airlocks will be live at a time agreed on by all players and the production team. If that is impossible on a given day, a non-live alternative may be provided. Airlocks are simple. The winner(s) stays in the game while the loser(s) is eliminated.

An Ejector Seat challenge may take place at a predetermined point in the season. It can be live or non-live. The last place contestant(s) in the Ejector Seat challenge may be eliminated. The Ejector Seat challenge will be announced with at least 20 hours notice given to the players.

Life Vests:
In this game, life vests are immunity for the round in which they are won. If you win an individual Life Vest, you can choose to keep it for yourself, or give it to another player. Life Vests won at Team Checkpoints cannot be given away. If you give another player your Life Vest, you are no longer immune from going into the Airlock or being voted out. Decisions on who gets a Life Vest must be made within 30 minutes of Checkpoint results. On occasion, a player may win more than 1 Life Vest. A player may not hold more than 1  Life Vest per round. If a player holds onto more than 1 Life Vest after the 30 minute decision period, it will be assumed that they want to keep 1 Life Vest. Any extra Life Vests will be allocated via random draw.

Votes:
Some eliminations and selections of who participates in the Airlock will take place by a vote. In some cases all players will vote, while in others the responsibility to vote may only be granted to certain players. Before every Checkpoint challenge, it will be posted if that round’s elimination will take place by Airlock or vote. If a round’s elimination takes place through the Airlock, the selection process for that round’s Airlock will also be revealed before the Checkpoint challenge. If you are expected to vote and fail to do so before the given deadline, you will receive a penalty for the following round, and a self-vote if you are at risk of elimination or being selected for the Airlock.

If a vote ties, players will have 30 minutes to revote. If the vote is still tied, the players that receive votes will be safe, and everyone else will draw rocks.

Advantages:
At certain points throughout the season, there will be opportunities to find or earn advantages. When you obtain an advantage, you will receive instructions on the specific ways it can be used and be notified when it will expire.
