Mel (me2013) and Christian (christian_) Battled the rain forest in a 21 day journey. Mel was a 99 year old survivalist expert and christian was a teacher who just wanted to see what he was worth out here. From the beginning mel was the craftswoman. she made hammocks that served as easy but useful temporary shelters and would always have the answer to any wounds by simply finding plants. When christian was in danger of a poisoness spider bite mel was able to treat it so it didn't get much worse then it was. Anytime her or christian had injuries she always knew how to solve it. as good as she was, she needed christian by her side. With her old age she couldn't do a whole lot when she was exhausted or hungry so that put all the weight on christian who had to take care of mel some days and do a lot of things by himself. he would get mel food and cater to her every need in order to get her better. The two managed to kill and eat a baby caiman and survive off of plants and bananas. These two show that with a little bit of team work you can survive naked and afraid!
