Hayden: Alek, this is stunning. It’s cutting edge and I feel a story when I see this. I feel like this is one of the most beautiful shots that has been given either cycles. HOWEVER, like I said last week, I think you need to tone down the profanity. But then again, I think it’s who you are. I don’t know how to feel about it. But this picture as a whole was unbelievable.
Zed: Awesome Photo! But I'll be honest I see where you were going with the theme but you didnt really take me back. other than that this a great job.
Cara:  Alek, this shot is the most beautiful shot I've seen all season. You executed the theme perfectly and took as back to ancient tribal times and I absolutely love that. You and Sean have both stood out to me this week and you both are fierce competition in my eyes.

Hayden: Allison, you were the biggest surprise to me in week 1 because never had I given a girl a 10 in week 1 but I did give one to you. Now, you’ve come back and absolutely amazed me once again. I thought you couldn’t top week 1 but damn you sure did amazing with this theme. You took this outfit and made it your OWN. I love it. Simply loveeee it.
Zed: This was a risk but for me it payed off. It doesnt look like you but I love it you took yourself out of your comfort zone and really embraced the theme while also giving us a great photo.
Cara: Didn't like this shot when it aired, still don't like this shot. Still don't like the fact that you're using ANTM photos while other girls aren't.

Hayden: Anchal, YES! This is such a comeback. I love it AND it makes sense. Overall, a great job this week! I love to see improvement.
Zed: This was high fashion and very edgy and risk taking but I didnt think it fit the theme really at all. My advice for you is to tone down your photos a little and let us see just you..
Cara: I have no clue what time period this is. If anything it looks like the future, but I can only critique so much since I only see 10% of Anchal in this picture, the rest is your hair. On top of that, your eyes and brows are covered by your hair so I barely have anything to judge here. Im disappointed.

Hayden: Oohh girl, this was simple yet it worked. I didn’t think you had this in you. I must say, though, I still believe your body was made for commercial and I struggle to see you as a high-fashion model. Still, I loved this shot.
Zed:  Yess Bey! This slayed me so hard. You killed it this week not much else to say.
Cara: This shot is an absolute surprise as I didn't expect it from Beyonce herself, but it's a good shot for the theme, just not very powerful overall.

Hayden: Genevieve, I feel like you’re falling in this competition. This isn’t a flattering picture of you and it’s a bit too revealing to put in any magazines minus maybe pornographic ones. This was super safe and just didn’t sit well with me.
Zed: This was an improvement in terms of the poor quality last week but as far as the rest of the photo I thought it was terrible. I dont think it fit the theme and your one piece was ugly..
Cara: To be frank, this photo doesn't really scream about the past to me. It's just an awkward photo of a woman in a non flattering bathing suit. It's just that doesn't add up very accurately.

Hayden: The first thing you did when you sent in your shot was make excuses for why this was going to be a bad shot. You should always act confident when presenting something, especially in the modeling world. However, I was actually pleasantly surprised with this. It did take me back and I think it’s super high-fashion. I actually love this shot. Good job, but next time act confident even when you’re really scared about a certain photoshoot.
Zed: You slay me too hard Miss Gigi! You brought be back to maybe a 20's or even 50's time period and gave us a KILLER photo. one of the best this week by far.
Cara: Okay now this is a classic photo. The photo itself looks like a former 70's shot and its absolutely stunning. Job well done.

Hayden: Jourdan nothing about this takes me back in time but I see improvement in your modeling skills. This is a very nice shot! I just wish it made more sense.
Zed:
Cara: I do see more of the past in this photo than in Genevieve's however there is something that isn't adding up here as well. To me, it's the fact that you can tell it's artificially the past rather than actually looking like it directly came from the past.

Hayden: Laura, once again you have surprised me. This is high-fashion and this is a little commercial. I love, love, love it.
Zed: Very good photo this week Laura! I think you hit the theme right on the head! you will be a contender in this competition if you keep giving us the good photos.
Cara: Well done Laura! This shot is very easy to look at and I appreciate the ways your shift your body throughout the photo, I'm not sure which time period it comes from but it doesn't look as old fashioned as I'd want but nevertheless, good job.

Hayden: Lily, once again you’ve done a pretty good job. I don’t like the magazine part of this because I didn’t ask for it BUT you captured the theme. Like I said last week, you are too commercial for your own good and I’m just not sure whether or not you can excel in this competition when we’re looking for high-fashion.
Zed: I didnt like the magazine but you are one of the few to really get the theme this week and that was awesome. despite the magazine I thought the quality was still there.
Cara: No no no no no lily :( Magazine covers are the biggest "Don'ts" you can pull in this game. You don't even look that great in the shot either....nor does it scream past.

Hayden: Logan, I feel you’re improving just not as fast as the other girls. This was a tad too sexual for my liking. It’s not high-fashion but it is a pretty good shot. Okay job this week.
Zed: Okay I said stand out and you did! This for sure brought be back to the 70s which was great. there is still some small things like the weird as fuck pose and your face could use work but improvement from last week.
Cara: Hi Logan, I want you to know that I love a cute pool boy just as much as the other girl, but your execution was a little poor on this one. If you are banking on a pattern shirt to sell your time period, that shows you aren't displaying the theme well enough to me. On top of that, I find you body positioning very poor.

Hayden: Nastasia, this is a nice picture. I don’t get the time period, but it’s very nice and pretty. BUT although I think you are an attractive lady, your attitude is not. Actually, we found it VERY unattractive. I almost don’t want to look at this photo because of it.
Zed: This was good but I just didnt really get it. I feel like your photos have so much going on and I'll be honest I really just want to see or focus on you.
Cara: Nastasia, I love this. Out of all the girls you really took the theme and wasn't afraid to exaggerate it or make it your own. Am I upset that its an ANTM photo? Yes, but it's a GOOD ANTM photo and I approve.

Hayden: Rihanna, you really lucked out this week with a great shot. The idea of this theme was to take us BACK in time so you didn’t really capture the theme. However, with that being said, this is probably one of the most editorial and high-fashion shots so far. I’m impressed.
Zed: This photo was very very strong this week and I think you'd look fierce and were nearing perfection BUT if I take off others for lacking the theme It only fair I do it for as well.
Cara: I love the fact that you asked if you could take a risk and do a spin-off with the theme, however, I personally would've avoided to do so. I was nearly eliminated last season for not following the theme well and I can't stress enough how important it is. The photo itself? Average.

Hayden: I like this, it’s high fashion, but just like Jourdan, it doesn’t make sense to the theme. Still, I see more potential here and improvement. Just stick with the theme, though.
Zed: The quality was poor and your pose and your face were both very awkward. However the photo did have a rustic feel to it so you do get some points for following better then most.
Cara: I do enjoy the era you chose because i'm a sucker for anything that's even close to the 50's decade. However, you look like the bike seat is made of thorns due to how painful and uncomfortable your face is. You also are very stiff on the bike, if you just relaxed all your muscles it would've turned out awesome.

Hayden: Sean, WOW! I don’t even recognize you and that is a very good thing in the modeling world. You embraced the theme but it’s a little too much commercial and not enough high-fashion. What you should’ve done is taken this look and made it your own. But still, great job.
Zed: YES SEAN! The men are bringing it tonight this was so much better then last week and you totally fit the theme to a tee and the your photo was great. Awesome job this week.
Cara: YES SEAN! THIS is everything I was looking for and more! I don't even have to see the rest of your body because you have nailed every aspect of this shoot from the chest up. Your smolder is killing me! Job very well done!

SMC(social media correspondent) Ninjohn's comments:
Genevieve: I had to double check the category here. I can't imagine why someone tasked to to a different time period wears a modern dress with a helicopter behind them. She's pretty, but she didn't do the assignment.

Jourdan: THIS is pretty. She is most certainly delivering Tibetan spice seller but she's holding her own and I can see who she is in the picture. I wish it was full body but it is indeed a strong picture.

Rosie: I understand the direction she wanted to take with this picture but the bike is the oldest thing about her. Those shoes, the nail polish, the cut of the dress, even her hair is all modern hair wear. If it wasn't for the scenery giving me 20 sepia's feels, I would not like this pic.

Anchal: The improvement from this week and last is ASTOUNDING. This is giving me Tahitian woman of the past looking to kill a fish and have sex with her man. She's smizing the house DOWN and I'm honestly blown away by this.

Logan: While this is not the best picture, I got the theme immediately. He's giving 50's neon mixed with modern poses and while I do think there could've been a more natural pose, this is not the guy in the bottom two last week. Logan has certainly amped up his game.

Sean: I look at this picture and I think Elvis immediately. This homage is beautiful, he looks so naturally stunning, the highlight on his eyes are great; I can't even imagine how this picture can be improved. He did a GREAT job.

Rihanna: I feel like each week there will be one person who's resting on pretty. I feel this week was Rihanna. She's nice and all, but she's slumped in her chair and not necessarily giving us a different time age. I know Rihanna usually is very futuristic but there are certainly better photos of her than just this.

Lily: hmmm...I'm very torn by this picture. She herself is beautiful and her face and hair and dress work perfectly for the picture. However, she sort of gets lost in the clutter and her pose looks so restricted and nervous. She has the best face for an Audrey Hepburn sort of picture and I just wish we got more of that. I definitely see the other age however so that's a plus.

Alison: Sly. Dog. Alison. I knew the MOMENT I read the theme she'd pick this. It's a great picture and I can't think of any better way to personify an person who made an age than with this. I wish there was more of individuality in this picture but it is good.

Gigi: This is pretty. It's giving me "Dynasty" vibes which I like. However, this is the second week in a row in which Gigi has been wind blown by a fan. My challenge for her would be to find a natural looking photo and to have her effects come after her face and not have the effects be the focus.

Nastasia: Wow...she flipped this challenge on its head. Where most went to the past, she went all the way to another reality of STEAMPUNK. This is so beautiful and inventive, she sticks out through all the effects and silences the noise. I wish the face wasn't so bleached white but it's BEAUTIFUL.

Laura: I'm torn on this one as well. She is beautiful and she certainly fits a time period but i feel as if she looks like a extra in a music video as opposed to a glamazon who lives in the time. I think if she relaxed a little she would hit this nail on the head.

Alek: This is exactly what I imagined for different time period. She's giving beautiful face but she LOOKS like she belongs to this time. She looks so strong, elegant and fitting without trying. She's certainly a front runner and I'm impressed.

Beyonce: To be quite honest, I wasn't sure how well Beyonce would be in this challenge. I think she showed me up. She looks so innocent in her flamenco garb and I do think she fits the time age she's shooting for. The makeup needs to be blended just a little bit more but it's a small critique. She looks great.

Okay. 14 models stand before me yet I only have 13 photos in my hands. These photos represent the models still in the running to become America's Next Top Model. The first photo I call is best photo and is therefore immune at the next photoshoot but still must compete in it.
