For many years, the country of Panem lived in peace. Thirteen districts existed to serve the country's elite who lived in the Capitol. Each tasked with a unique industry, they all held meaning towards the survival of a nation. But they revolted and the thirteenth District was obliterated as punishment. The twelve remaining districts were then punished for this defiance with the rumors of a deadly game running through the Districts. At last, it came and will be forever known as The Hunger Games.
