Noah entered the game as one of the more experienced poolers and was consistently riding the middle of the pack. However, a shocking upset to 1-seed Illinois to begin play yesterday ended his chances of winning.

Lake ended the first two rounds as a contender for the crown. However, yesterday proved that one game can change the entire challenge. Loyola Chicago's upset of Illinois gave a surprising dagger to one of the group's hottest players.

Eoin continues to lament for his past mistakes in the first two rounds. He only picked one game correctly out of eight yesterday and is slowly slipping behind in the field. His championship choice of Gonzaga is keeping him in, but the rest of his bracket is making it difficult for him to contend. Eoin finished the day with 160 points.

Newz was one of the worst performers after two days and still finds himself in the same boat. However, his winner pick Syracuse has now pulled off two upsets as they find themselves in the Sweet 16. Can the Orange and Newz stay holding on by a thread? Newz finished the day with 180 points.

Harry started off the tournament real sluggish, but there is a path to the end for him to be a true contender in the second half. His Arkansas championship pick survived a near-upset bid from Texas Tech and now the Razorbacks are heavily favored in a match against 15th-seeded Cinderella Oral Roberts on Saturday. If Arkansas can make a deep run, Harry has a shot to take it home. Harry scored a TG-high 80 points yesterday to bring his total to 270 points.

Treeko began the tournament in the middle of the pack, but appears to have found a lane towards the top of the leaderboard. His 80 points yesterday pushed him into 2nd place amongst TG players and he still has his champion Michigan in the field. Treeko brought his total to 290 points.

Chandler is on top of the Cutthroat Challenge leaderboard for the third day in a row and on top of the overall leaderboard. While some upsets have not gone his way, he's been able to capitalize on all of the other games and hit on some risky picks. His champion Kansas plays late tonight, and a loss there could catapult Chandler out of the competition, but as long as Kansas stays hot, Chandler appears to remain a heavy favorite. Chandler scored 80 points yesterday, bringing his total to 320 points.
