Often, they would steal something, sell it, and then use the money to buy they same type of thing that they stole so that they could show the receipt to their parents when asked how they obtained something. However, as they grew up, Ty grew less and less driven to stealing as morality set in. He grew tired of always using his smarts for selfish gain. Instead, he wanted to do something good for once. Four years ago, Marianna wanted him to go on a heist with her and two of their friends. When Tyson refused, Marianna decided to go without him and ended up being caught.
