Bio: Before the outbreak Carley was a regional news reporter for WABE in Atlanta, Georgia and worked with fellow co-worker, Steve. Having spent time as a correspondent in various war-zones, she feels that she can take care of herself and isn't afraid to use firepower as a solution to the problems that face her. Right before the outbreak, Carley and her production crew drove to Macon to cover the International Cherry Blossom Festival. The crew was attacked by walkers and she was forced to watch as her producer was eaten alive. She was saved by Doug and joins him. They both later meet up with Glenn, Lilly, and her father, Larry.

Bio - Zach is a successful man. He taught at the local highschool. 3 days before the Apocalypse his school was shot up by a student. His classroom was the only one left unscaved. Amongst those killed in the shooting was his girlfriend whom he was going to ask to be his wife that day at their usual lunch table where they sat alone. Zach prefers leadership responsibilities but knows when it isnt his time. Zach wasnt well like by his fellow teachers because he had a cocky almost arrogant attitude about himself. After making a quick run to his parents house where he knew his father had enough weaponry to cover a small army for months. His small group of 6 him and 5 surviving students went. 4 died on the way back. Leaving him and one 17 year old boy. The 17 year old boy was bitten when he accidentally separated  from Zach in the cafeteria. Zach has enough food and clothing and weaponry to last what he predicts to be 6 months.
