What I loved about this shoot was the fact that you had to basically tell a story with your picture. The photo I'm submitting today tells an intense story and you would be compelled to purchase the magazine you saw this on because you would definitely want to know what was going on.

Lucky Blue Smith - Partners in Crime

This photo shoot happened in week 4 of my season and I believe I was getting very cocky and losing focus of what I needed to bringing into the spotlight. I made the rush decision of posing with my fellow NTM8 cast member Francisco and that was seen as a bad move. Being apart of the panel of judges for as long as I have been I constantly had to relive my high and lows of my season and this photo shoot definitely is one of them so thank you for letting me redo it. Jordan Barrett: ‘Vintage’

I chose to recreate this photo shoot from my season as it highlights my turning point in the completion. I struggled to connect with the challenges and shoots prior but this week gave me a chance to blossom and truly show what a strong competitor I am. I won best photo this week and also the week after. Therefore, I wanted to really pay tribute to this shoot for helping me connect with the model I am. Vintage is definitely one of my area of preferences in regards to modelling. This shot is very much inspired by 1960/1970 gangstas, mafia vibes. I am currently walking down the streets of New York or London all fresh and smart. I took my own unique editorial look and mixed it with vintage fashion.

One of my favorite challenges, and one of the most earlier challenges from my season was from the Challenge in week 2 where we were tasked with modeling after a song, focusing on a specific one or two lines from that song. This time I’m gonna model the song title itself, and as my song was Shape of you by Ed Sheeran I’ll try my best to embody shape and body.

i decided to recreate the week three challenge from cycle thirteen. the challenge centered around physical movement and i believe i was able to elevate my original shot by focusing less on body movement, and more on the motion concerning all aspects to completely animate the shot.

{[:: I was assigned Virgo in this particular photoshoot, back then all I cared was delivering the theme and not really showing who I was in the photoshoot, no personality, just looking a way. That is what makes a model, to be able to deliver what's wanted, but what makes a super model is the ability to do this while being yourself and standing out no matter what. Virgos are really professional, to themselves, neat, smart. Back then I went straight for that , but this time around, I'm breaking that safety net. Virgo are dominant, yet laid back. Virgo are intellectual yet very observant. I'm giving you an intimidating, intense yet intellectual. You can tell I look intimidating just by looking at my body, so relaxed yet so threatening, all these qualities can come together to form a sinister character, so why not try see if that's true for youselfs, after all, a dance with the devil will last you forever. ::]}

Challenge #7-Commercial

One of our tasks during this challenge was to give a commercial shot while advertising an item, in this case the item is a watch. I don’t think my photo the first time was all that well-received but I do think the item is more front and center this time around.

have I done better shots ? Sure but this shot is for me my most memorable and my fave because this shot allowed me to express myself and distance myself from just being a mode , I got to show that models can have a few brain cells here and there 😂and that there is substance to me so I chose this shot because it beats reflects my brand and who I am and sometimes that might have been a flaw of mine for being “too smart “ but it makes me..well .me!
