So for a magazine cover I think simplicity is keen since having too much in the background could overwhelm the audience since theres supposed to be text and headlines and stuff surrounding it as well. That's why I'm not a huge fan of some magazine brands,

For my photoshoot today I decided to go with a more simple but effective approach and pose for Harper's Bazaar. If you look at the front cover examples you see fashion is the main approach and they have simple but effective covers so I hope this is enough to impress as I want to make sure to catch the eye of the reader, but not overwhelm them

Vogue is definitely one of the most influential magazines out there and from what I've experienced they touch upon a lot of levels and unconsciously emotions! It might seem primarily fashionable, but there's more to fashion, A STATEMENT MUST BE MADE!
Here I am styling proudly my heritage and culture for this magazine front cover because not only is it fashionable but Vogue is known to highlight different countries and here I am serving this shot for Vogue China. With confidence and certainty oozing of this shot to hopefully make the front cover.

Reece King - GQ

According to the website, GQ has been trying to redefine masculinity since 1957. Since it's encouraging change and diversity, I wanted to mix it up with a more feminine shot. This photo should emphasize that there are no rules on how to be a man, as long as you act as your true self.

I just wanted to showcase a high fashion photo but still keeping it editorial. Most great vogue covers I found had some type of breathtaking landscape in the background with the model wearing a gorgeous garment. I didn't want to just give you a photo with a plain background again.

I am giving you a vintage style and laid back vibe. I’ve sort of noticed these elements when looking up other Rolling Stones covers. There is a quality that references past era’s and it’s kind of simple.
