Challenge #7
"The Oscars - Part 2"
It's time for part two of your "The Oscars" shoot this week. This time, our challenge winner, Taylor played a part in making some minor changes for the selection this week. Now you all have been given a character from a particular Oscar-nominated movie, this time we'll look deeper.
All of you are assigned mostly with the same movie, except for the advantage Taylor got, which will I be discussing later. Your task now is not to portray a particular character but rather an important symbol/object/setting/theme of the movie you were given. That particular object plays a huge role in the movie but of course, if you haven't watched it yet or not planning on watching it, I provided some links below where you can find some great materials.

https://www.everymoviehasalesson.com You are tasked to interpret what the meaning of the given object in relation to the movie you were assigned. Again you can search the net for the meanings or check the links (study guides) I've posted above where Symbols, Allegory and Motifs will be there to help you.
For Taylor's advantage, she was given a chance to not only CHANGE her object/symbolism, but to also change TWO of her co-models object with the choices below:
- Camera flash (Get Out)
- Lifeboats (Dunkirk)
- Umbrella (Little Women)
- Color "Red" (The Sixth Sense)
- Spotlight (La La Land)
Posted below is what you were given/assigned. You have 24 hours to do the photoshoot. Of course an explanation would be necessary. Thank you and Goodluck!
