I decided to take on this song because it resonated with me much more than the rest and I wanted to bring more emotion into my stay in this competition.

This lyrics are very significant because you are basically caught in an inner turmoil in whether you want to accept them back or fight. This song talks about being stuck and torn in an unhealthy relationship or their own personal wellbeing. To my shot, I'm scared for my life, he keeps on creeping on me and I have no way out of it, but I still desire him a bit internally. I wanted to bring on old and wealthy vibes because I want to show that it happens to everyone no matter their socio-economic status.

I feel like my shot represents this song because when I went on YouTube to watch the music video the first thing I noticed was all the different colours that the rooms had. From Blue to Yellow to Red to Green to Pink each was a different colour giving off a beautiful aesthetic which I wanted to present through my shot! After that I went to look at the lyrics and I feel this particular lyric really fit in with my shot!
“ And there's a dazzling haze, a mysterious way about you, dear”
I feel there is something mysterious about this shot but at the same time very dazzling!

7 Rings is one of Ariana Grande's most popular songs to date. It is about her boasting off her wealth & her success about houses and diamonds and many other expensive things. I absolutely love this song because every single time i listen to it, i feel immediately rich & like i'm this bad b. I feel like my spot goes well with the song because i'm just oozing off "rich" vibes along with the songs undermining confidence. The singer confidently states "I want it, i got it." Quite frequently in the song & i feel like the shot relays that message. I've got on a fur coat, expensive jewelry & well, "you like my hair? Gee, thanks, just bought it."

one of 2019's defining pop hits, "talk" by khalid is a minimalistic pop jam about the strain between khalid and someone else's relationship, addressing their lack of communication. in my picture i decided to use the colors red and blue, both colors featured prominently in the music video, and i'm conveying the emotional punch behind the song with my facial expression.

So I chose this song because truly it was the only one out of the entire list that corresponded with Jacob’s catalog and brand.

My interpretation of this song is that the female in the relationship is the one that actually holds the balls. They control how this relationship will go and if they are done with it, it will be done. But while in the relationship they’ll let the guy believe they’re in control. And a few lyrics more so brings that to light for me.

This song is about a fierce powerful women tired of men. More specifically a man who is too afraid to break up face to face and does it over text.

This song is a very powerful feminist anthem and I decided to model a strong, fierce bitch, whos not just 99% but a 100%

My face to me screams power and I’m alone in this photo to showcase even more of that female strength- in which we don’t need anyone to be powerful. Men are only great til they gotta be great

This song is very sad. It shows the pain of letting someone go when you break up with them. In the video we can see that he's trying to move on but he can't help but looking back towards her. In my shot I'm giving a pained expression, while trying to appear normal as I struggle to move on.

The song "Sunflower" was written for Spiderman, to portray the message of a Superhero having to chose between his superpowers, or the girl he loves.

The song itself is describing how a guy is in love with a girl. Two artists are sharing a story about the girl. We can assume both artists are either sharing the story of one man—or both are in love with same girl. Either way, she is the sunflower: coarse, yet delicate; needs love, yet can tolerate a lack of affection.

In this photo, Joan is showing off the colors of a sunflower. She looks fierce, yet delicate. Joan looks like a woman who would bring the boys to the garden wanting to make her their "sunflower".
