1. Ava Max - It’s such an average pop song, yet I hear it fucking everywhere. Like… I don’t understand. By the time Beta has swung around I’m simply over it at this point.
2. Sigrid - I’ve finally started to give her a chance. I forget what I thought of this song when it was submitted to the regular contest, but it’s actually pretty solid overall. The little rapping bits are my favorite.
3. MUSE - A little theatrical in places, a little dreary in others. This was not for me.
4. Amaral - Pretty bland. Nothing really exciting here. NEXT!
5. Tove Lo - Obviously a classic. She’s grown so much since then, and this isn’t even her best song from QotC, but it’s still iconic.
6. Flo Rida - This song aged like milk. There is not a single Flo Rida song that I would consider giving points to, except for maybe Low just for the nostalgia. But anything after that is trash. Sia was really doing so much community service.
7. Dua Lipa - God I used to be so OBSESSED with this song when it came out. I had recently broken up with an ex, and didn’t know how to handle it, and I initially followed NONE of this advice <3 But she’s right. Still a massive bop.
8. Black Eyed Peas - Honestly, out of all the serves they have, and you choose this song? It’s ok but like nothing exciting or memorable.
9. Rudimental - It was fun! It progresses really well. Can’t really complain!
10. TWICE - Ok before I talk about the song, the VISUALS in this? S T U N N I N G ! Anyways the song is a massive bop and actually really mature sounding for them. Slay girls.
11. The Chainsmokers, Coldplay - Two artists I’ve absolutely grown to loathe (more with the Chainsmokers). I’m so over this, more than the Ava Max song even.
12. LazyTown - RIP Stefan Karl Stefansson AKA Robbie Rotten. If this isn’t Cooking by the Book, I’m not interested.
13. Tina Disco - TWICE’s Fancy outsold. It’s actually kinda pleasant, but also pretty forgettable.
14. Lizzo - Iconic self-motivating queen. This song is a classic. Lizzo’s really been one of my favorite artists within the last year or so. Love this!
15. Nicki Minaj - LMAOOOOOO I love a tragic trainwreck. I would hardly consider this a song, but rather an experience. A severe serve, truly.
16. Miley Cyrus - Doesn’t she look like Ashley O? Or is it just me? This song is actually pretty decent. Never gave her Bangerz album much of a chance, and I wouldn’t call this a banger, but it’s a decent little pop tune.
17. Mabel - I’ve actually been quite digging this song over the last few weeks. It’s rather infectious. Pretty decent from her.
