This challenge is called “round the world ticket.” For those who don’t know, when you want to travel the world, you can buy one ticket that takes you all the way around the world. Today, you will do that, solving a puzzle along the way. You must select (from the options below) any number of destinations you want to fly to. Here’s the trick: it must come as close to $5,000 as possible. All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, flying out of Toronto (not that it matters lol).
So, you could select 2, 4, 6, or even 10 destinations on this list if you want: just make sure that your total comes as close to $5,680 as possible. The only main rule is that no two tribe members may submit the exact same itinerary. Your order must be as close to 5,000 as possible, otherwise you will lose points. For every dollar above $5,000 you are, you will lose a dollar. So, if you send in an order of $5,700, you will only get 5,660 points.
BONUS: All six continents are represented here. You will get a “sales discount” or bonus points, for representing all the continents. 1 continent gives a 5% bonus, 2 countries is 10%, 3 continents is 15%, 4 continents is 20%, five is 25%, and all six is 30% (Antarctica will NOT give you any bonus).
FYI: Dubai is counted as being in Africa, while Caribbean and Hawaii is in North America. If you don’t know what continent something is on, google it ;)
