Why does this take 22 years?

Hali truly went out with a bang... that’s for certain.

As found in his bedroom, he hardly even lied down in bed when he discovered a note I left him. “Meet me in the shed if you want to survive.” I didn’t have to lure him out or even do anything for him to anxiously and quickly go out there.

He got to the shed, late in the night, and went inside, expecting to find me, but he just found even more notes in there. The notes were a series of messages.

Yes, I tricked him into killing himself. He thought if he pressed the button BEN would be in the morgue last night...
