In this competition, you will compete in an online board game known as ‘Hex’, on the Board Game Arena website. It will require you to set up an account and set up game tables to face each other on, but we will run through how that works when we begin.
You will play in head to head heats against each other, rotating who you play as we go through, so that each player faces the each of the other four players once. One player will sit out per round and the order has been randomised.
The game itself – “Hex” – requires you to strategically place your own color hexagons in order to make a complete path from one side of the board to the other, without being blocked by the other player’s own hexagons. With the way the board is formatted, it is not possible for a tie to occur, so there will be a victor in every head to head bout.
The player who wins the most head to head duels after everyone has played each other wins IMMUNITY!
In the case of a tie, one or more run-off rounds will be played until we have an outright victor.
It's fairly simple. At the end of the comp he can ask for a REMATCH with one player of his choice. The end result of that rematch will be final and the previous Ethan vs. ?? match will be void.
