Episodes 7 and 8: "There aren't any starving kids in Armenia, do y'all even research the country?" -Patrick

The Final 5 Teams raced from Rabat, Morocco, to their next destination, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Before leaving, teams had to claim spots on one of two flights by completing a word search with the names of various countries around the world hidden. All teams found the puzzle surprisingly easy, however, the time differences from the previous leg proved too difficult to make up for most teams.

Flight #1 departed at 1:20 PM and arrived at 3:20 AM with a connection via Cairo

Once teams landed in Addis Ababa, they had to travel over 100 kilometers to the Menagesha National Park. Although their flight landed 5 hours before the second flight, most the lead that Allie/Patrick and Anthony/Alex had was lost due to the park not opening until 9 AM.

In the National Park, teams spent the day getting familiar with nature. Teams first encountered a Roadblock, which had one member from each team run a series of trials looking for the trial that has their clue at the end. All racers found the trail easy, however the average team spent about 45 minutes lost in the jungle.

Teams continued in the Menagesha National Park where they encountered the Detour which had teams being precise in their submission through a shopping task or a timing task. With all teams choosing the shopping task and sailing through it, making teams wonder if there was more that met the eye for this leg of the race...

However, it was on top of a cliff-side overlooking the Menagesha National Park that teams hiked to their next Pit Stop. The last team to arrive here MAY be eliminated...

Episode 7: Part 2

The final 5 teams departed from Menagesha National Park after being formed there was no mandatory rest period and they were to continue racing. Teams were instructed to drive down to the Meyazia 27 Square in order to continue this leg of the race.

Arriving at the Roadblock, teams were flown into the air in order to test their skydiving skills, while some players were able to leap to victory, others got their parachute tangled up and plummeted to their death.

Teams then were instructed to complete a puzzle of their next destination, Cafesjian Museum of Art in Yerevan, Armenia in order to get on their flight.

Flight #1- Departing at 10:30 PM arriving at 11:20 AM

Once landed, teams had to make their way to Tsitsernakaberd where they encountered another Yield! Ultimately it was Will and Brad who decided to Yield Alex and Anthony, however, Alex and Anthony had already passed the Yield proving it to be ineffective.

Teams were then given the choice between two Detours, either to Slide It by having each member solve a 2048 puzzle, or Donate It, where each team was instructed to play FreeRice till they had each donated 2500 grains of rice. While nearly all teams labored away at the rice, Alex and Anthony were delayed when Anthony's meth-addled brain proved unable to finish 2048

After the detour, the not really battered and not really beaten teams slowly began to make their way to the Pit Stop to check in at the Grand Hotel Yerevan

It is here where teams will be able to check in to the 9th Pit Stop of the race, the last team to check in here MAY be eliminated
