Tonight, you are playing “Spell it out” and here’s how it works:
Each round, I will count you down and then mail TWO people on your team at random. I will mail one person a LETTER and the other person a NUMBER.
The first team to post a word that STARTS with the letter I mailed you and is the length of the number I mailed you in this forum will score a point. The first person who posts a word that ENDS with the letter I mailed you and is the correct length will also score a point.
EXAMPLE:
Mail 1: R
Mail 2: 3
Answer: Rat or Ear (They would both would score a point)
The first team to score THREE points will form the round’s institution and the last team to reach THREE points will head directly into the Asylum.
Rules:
- The word must be able to be found on
https://www.dictionary.com - A point will be awarded for a word that starts with the mailed letter and a word that ends with the mailed letter (2 points per round)
- Plurals will NOT COUNT
- Rounds will last 2 minutes, or until both answers are claimed
- The same team can score both points in a round, but two different people would have to score them
- If two teams reach 3 points in the same round, the team who scored first will win
- When it’s down to just 2 teams left, only one point per round will be available
Any questions?
