Welcome to your next challenge, Sky High.

In order to succeed your team will need to work together.  4 members must work together to launch balls in the air into their team basket to earn different points.  Each person holds a rope tied to 1 end of a platform and when you want to launch a ball and attempt to score, ALL FOUR must mail me the phrase:

LAUNCHES BALL

In order to score ALL FOUR mails must be within 5 seconds of each other based on the Tengaged time stamp.

For the mail to count it must be sent to myself AND the 3 other people launching with you.

GREEN TEAM, since you have 5 members, 1 person needs to sit out of this challenge and it is simply whoever does not participate in the first launch your team does.  Once your team successfully completes 1 launch then the person who did not participate is sitting out. 

The goal is to have as many of the mails sent at the exact same time as that will earn more points.

Scoring is as such:

--If no mails are on the same time and not all mails are within 5 seconds it does not count as a score attempt
--If no mails are on the same time but all within 5 seconds they score 5 points.
--If at most 2 mails are the same time and all are within 5 seconds they score 10 points.
--If at most 3 mails are the same time and all are within 5 seconds they score 25 points.
--If at most 4 mails are the same time they score 50 points.

The trick is that once you score points on a launch, you must wait AT LEAST 30 MINUTES from the most recent mail to try again.  If you attempt too early it will not count and you have to wait from the mistake mails 30 more minutes.

You will have until 4 am est which is roughly 24 hours, 30 minutes from now to score as much as possible.

The team who scores the most points will win this challenge and be safe from elimination and that Team's Captain will become the Paymaster for the round.

The team that loses will face the Vault to decide who will be up for Elimination but the losing Team Captain will NOT participate and will automatically be 1 of the 3 up for elimination.

The Golden Lock is NOT AVAILABLE for this challenge.

I can now reveal neither team scored a point so we are going into sudden death.

Now the number of people required to participate instead of 4 members is now 3 members meaning only 3 will participate.  The penalty still stands that those who do not participate and are on the losing team will earn a penalty vote.

You have until 11 pm est (19 hours from now) to score as much as you can.

I can now reveal neither team scored a point so we are going into double sudden death.

Now the number of people required to participate instead of 3 members is now 2 members at a time meaning at most 4 people will participate.  The penalty still stands that those who do not participate and are on the losing team will earn a penalty vote.  So at most 2 pair of 2 per team can participate.  When 2 people have scored a point together they can only participate with each other for the rest of the challenge

You have until 2 am est TOMORROW (27 hours from now) to score as much as you can.

I can now reveal there were attempts to score in this challenge.

There were 4 scoring attempts as follows:

1. GREEN TEAM - Absol and Gaiaphagee attempted but DID NOT SCORE because they only included myself in the mail and not each other.

2. GREEN TEAM - Absol and Gaiaphagee attempted and SCORED 5 POINTS as they were within 5 seconds of each other's mails but not exact.

3. GOLD TEAM - jman96 and rodrigueseve attempted and SCORED 5 POINTS as they were within 5 seconds of each other's mails but not exact.

4. GREEN TEAM - Absol and Kelly0412 attempted and DO NOT SCORE as per the rules once 2 people participate they can only participate with each other and since Absol played with Gaiaphagee already he cannot play with anyone else.  This was against the challenge rules and should result in a DQ but instead we will go to the tiebreaker.

So the score is

5 - Gold Team
5 - Green Team

There is a tie and this was the Double Sudden Death.  To break the tie, the team whose launch attempt was closest to perfect (both mails being sent the exact same time, which was the goal) will be the winner.

Per the Tengaged time stamps, the difference in times of the mails were:

2 seconds for Gold Team
3 seconds for Green Team

As their launch was closest to perfect, Congratulations Gold Team!  You have won this challenge and have earned safety from Elimination.  As the Team Captain of the winning team, jman96 you will be the Paymaster for this round and will ultimately decide which of the at-risk green team members will be eliminated.

Green Team, for losing this challenge you are now vulnerable for elimination and will face the Vault.  Kelly0412, as the Team Captain of the losing team your check will automatically go in the strongbox and you are 1 of 3 people eligible for elimination.  You will only be involved with the Vault Vote in the event of a tie.  To the remaining 4, more info on the Vault vote will be posted shortly.
