I don't even know what a Big Band song is.

It's come to my attention that people think i'm saying you need to stick to that list of artists from wiki. My intention was to provide a list of artists that fall within that genre that you can use as a starting off point when trying to find a song. Big Band primarily includes genres of swing / jazz and traditional pop. It's not an ACTUAL band.

The list was intended for you to have a starting off point if you were confused about the theme.

Okay so I very nearly had to drop out of the contest this week. Having not wanting to jinx myself and record my songs before feedback and ranking, I waited until feedback. I went away on Friday and I am still on holiday now. Luckily when trying out a few during this week I recorded a couple for fun and I am going to have to use these as my final pieces as there is no way I am able to record whilst being away on holiday. I hope they are Ok and I apologise for my acapella song not being the full song, I was just having a practise of a few different acapella songs and this one I decided to save despite it being not the entire song.

I'm gonna have to withdraw unless I can have an extension because I refuse to record anything until after results and I've also been away since Thursday so haven't had a chance to record anything and won't have the time until tomorrow at the earliest.

I decided to sing What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. I forgot that Jazz was an option because I was reading through the theme really quick. Well when I finally figured out that Jazz was an option, I knew immediately that was the song to I wanted to sing! <3

I sang this in choir last year at graduation. I was really sad because I had a lot of senior friends graduating so it really took a toll on me. This song is dedicated to all of my friends who have gone off to live their lives and I will miss them always!! <3
