This Death Match is similar to the original Black and White game, in which you need to outwit your opponent in a series of 9 rounds, but with a new spin.
To begin this Death Match, both players will have 99 points to spend. The game will consist of 9 rounds. In each round, players may use as many points as they would like out of their 99 points.
The starting player for round 1 will be determined by coin flip. Afterwards, the winning player in the previous round will go first. In a round, the starting player will mail me how many points they would like to use.
I will then announce BLACK if a single digit amount was used and WHITE if a double-digit amount was used. Afterwards, the second player will do the same. The player who used more points will get 1 win, but you won’t be told exactly how much they used.
As well as knowing BLACK or WHITE in each round, you will know a range of how many points your opponent has remaining.
Used points are subtracted from your total and your remaining points are shown to your opponent as one of these categories, with the range you are in immediately revealed after each of your turns:
- 80-99
- 60-79
- 40-59
- 20-39
- 0-19
The player who wins most rounds out of 9 will win this Death Match.
