« Deep Loch »
Warriors, this is the Deep Loch. Within this ancient lake, guarded by demons, lies up to 4 rings to be won by each warrior. The deeper you go into the loch to retrieve these rings, the greater your prize. But in consequence, the deeper you go, the longer it will take to get out.
Each round I will post three letters i.e. ‘TRE’, and you will have 30 seconds to send me back the longest ONE word you can make, starting OR ending in those three letters. i.e. TREachery or cenTRE.
Remember you can only send ONE word.
For each letter in your word, you will dive into the Deep Loch by 1 notch.
To win rings, you must hit certain notch targets.
10 notches = 1 ring
20 notches = 2 rings
30 notches = 3 rings
40 notches = 4 rings
This is the important part.
When you think you have gone deep enough into the loch, you can exit the challenge and swim to the surface with you rings, by posting -SWIMS TO SURFACE- and -CLAIMS RINGS- in two separate posts, and you will win the number of rings equivalent to the number of notches you got to.
However, you do not want to leave this too late, as the last player to exit the loch will be attacked by the demon, losing a life and any rings claimed.
So, you must weigh up how deep you want to go for more rings, with when you want to bail out to make sure you don’t lose it all.
