The duo ‘The Cope’ are opening the show with their song ‘Back On My Bullshit’
'Back On My Bullshit' is a floor-filling, energetic cut, shifting in tone from The Cope's previous releases. Full of playfulness and sentiment, Joe of the duo expands on the song's premise: "'Back On My Bullshit; is a journey towards individual empowerment. Drawing inspiration from the feelings and impulses that follow on from a toxic situationship breaking down, the track casts off the emotions of sadness and salutes the potential routes back to happiness.
Alice Esambe (aka Alicia Raye) is an Afro-Irish musician and rapper who embraces the genres of R&B, soul and trap in her powerful work. Cameroon-born, Drogheda-raised Alicia Raye bring to the contest her groove-heavy single 'Sun'.
Picture This, who have quickly emerged as one of Ireland’s modern favourites, have released theor entry ‘Get On My Love.’ In the words of the band, “This song is about community, togetherness, inclusivity and connection. ‘Get On My Love’ is an invitation to the masses to come and chant with Picture This. It is the soundtrack to how we can all be wonderful individuals, together.
Brimming with fierce energy, the shape-shifting track is a striking amalgamation of hip hop and punk – biting lyrics delivered against fuzz-filled soundscapes in emphatic and unpredictable fashion. Full of confidence, this is a track that forces you to sit up and take notice – YINYANG is an artist forging her own path and we’re excited to see what comes next.
Inhaler needs no introduction to fans of the Irish music scene. “Love Will Get You There,” a warm, guitar-laden track that carries the restless spirit of one’s early 20s. With a sonic disposition reminiscent of 80s rock ‘n’ roll in conjunction with sanguine lyrics and a riveting music video performance, the track is a lighthearted, but captivating, synthesis of youth and nostalgia.
ENI B aims to put Irish hip-hop and rap on the map with her hard cutting bars and dominant flow. Born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Galway, the West of Ireland by her Nigerian mum and Southern American dad ENI's music showcases her mixed nationalities whilst also promoting self love and confidence through her music. Growing up ENI had always been outspoken and making sure her voice was heard was really important to her. As she grew older she still maintained being unapologetically herself and striving to get everything she wants out of life. This is evidently seen in her music. ENI aims to prove that her pen game is solid and her flow is meticulous and that she is 'A BOSS'
Lenii (Ellen Murphy) is a singer, songwriter, music producer and multi instrumentalist from Cork, Ireland. A vegetarian who eats duck on her birthday. Frequently cries and laughs at the same time. Says "plug out" instead of "unplug". Worries about being basic. This is a hot mess bio and I’m here for it.
This will rock your world. Belfast’s Amy Montgomery has a way of burrowing deep under your skin and drilling into your subconscious, this twisting and twisted combination of feral, siren vocals, groove and attitude a ridiculously heady brew. Sounding like the lovechild of Patti Smith and Iggy Pop, the looping musical rhythm and powerful punch cements her reputation as a future icon and someone who will not be silenced.
