Hello, this is Slovakia calling! After our previous HOD was promoted, some random intern was assigned to us...and by that I mean tonight we will be presenting 8 bops from artists from across the nation; the winner representing us in the first Harmony Song Contest in Malaga!

1) King Shaolin - "JIVIN"



King Shaolin are a four-piece new-age pop band. Formed in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2011, the band consists of Dominik Štofko (lead vocals and guitar), Michal Neffe (back vocals, guitar, percussions), Norbert Neuschl (back vocals, bass) and Lukáš Vajda (drums). The band's debut album "Road to the Machiavelli Valley" was released 15 December 2012.

2) Mária Čírová - "UNIKÁT"



Mária Čírová (born 20 November 1988) is Slovak singer. In 2008, she won the final, eight edition of the Coca-Cola Popstar contest in Slovakia. As of 2021, she has released 3 albums, and is well known for topping Slovakian charts in 2011 with her song "Labutia"

3) Kristína - "Si pre mňa best"



Kristína Peláková (born 20 August 1987), professionally known as Kristína, is a Slovak singer. She is best known for representing Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song “Horehronie”. The song placed 16th in the semi-final with a total of 24 points. Kristína is one of the most popular female artists in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and has toured both countries on multiple occasions. In 2015, she competed on the Slovak version of "Dancing With The Stars" finishing in 2nd. Kristina has also produced 14 songs featured in the Top 10 of the Slovak charts

4) Dominika Mirgová - "DOLE"



Dominika Mirgová (born 23 December 1991) is a Slovak singer and actress from Trnava. She first appeared at age 15 in the third season of Slovensko hľadá SuperStar. In 2008, she debuted with her first solo album, later releasing two more; her most recent in 2016

5) SIMA - "Ja"



SIMA is one of the most popular artists in Slovakia, despite currently residing in Los Angeles. Inspired by everyone from Massive Attack, Bjork, and The Cranberries to A Perfect Circle, System of a Down, Pearl Jam and Alanis Morissette, SIMA made her musical debut in 2009 with the single “Breaking Down The Walls” followed by her first full-length album This Is My Truth in 2012 and the EP Beautiful Liar in 2014

6) Katarína Knechtová - "Svety"



Katarína Knechtová debuted on the Slovak music scene in 1996 in the band IMT Smile led by Ivan Tásler. One year later she left the band with drummer and moved to the band Peha, which was later in 1999 called the revelation of a year in Slovakia. Two years later, Katarína won the Aurel award as the best female singer (winning again in 2005). She is also a winner of OTO award in 2007. In 2008, she left Peha in order to pursue a solo career

7) Peter Bič Project - "Where Did You Go"



Peter Bič Project is a six-member music group from Košice. The group was founded by Peter Bič in 2010 , after leaving the band IMT Smile . The band debuted in 2012 with the release of the album Say It Loud, the most famous of which became the song "Hey Now", which also became a hit abroad. Today, they are one of the most popular music groups in Slovakia and the Czech Republic

8) NIA & TINA  - "MAJSA"



Tina (born Martina Csillagová; 11 March 1984) is a Slovak singer. She won the Best Female Singer prize at the Slávik Awards in 2011 and 2012. Tina co-hosted the 2011 edition of Czech/Slovak television series SuperStar alongside Leoš Mareš. She returned to host alongside Mareš in the first two series of The Voice Slovakia. For this song, she is teaming up with NIA, a debuting Slovak artist
