I had high expectations for you this week and by George, I think you’ve met them! Your snail is so glam and #Bonico while still embracing the ridiculousness of glamming up a snail… I love the detail of the little bit of ass cleavage showing. Your swimwear look isn’t quite as successful, but it’s still a serviceable look. The concept is appreciated but I’m a little confused as to why the arms are a separate color and not the same color as either the sunburn or the eyeglasses tan line. Your eleganza is in my opinion the most successful on the stage tonight. The assignment was high fashion and you gave it to us while still channeling the campiness of Sandy. It’s a really unique take, your makeup and the garment look stunning, my /only/ complaint is that the wig seems a little too photorealistic compared to the rest of the look, but I do love the Kandy muse dot png. Great work this week.

Hey Hole, sup? Basically I think your bikini look is alright. The bikini itself is kinda ugly but I appreciate the camp take (I mean, this is literally a Spongebob themed challenge). However, your Sandy eleganza… PLEASE! This was THE look of the night for me. It’s high fashion, on theme, and super creative – I can’t find any flaws! Your snail is very cute and glam and she truly looks like she’s your pet. Excellent work!

Hey Hole, nice cheeks! I’ll start with Snaili Bonico and say she looks lovely, as hoped after I read you for your first post… Your bikini look is really fun, and I’d be really into the look even if I wasn’t aware of the anchor arms reference. Of course your show-stopper here is Miss Texas 2021 herself, she’s really great! You reimagined the concept of a tree in glass really uniquely and very beautifully. Your hair and makeup are very squirrely, I’m fully getting my Sandy Cheeks fantasy. It’s fashion, it’s fashion, it’s camp, it’s fashion. At the start of this season you already had me sold on your point of view, I just needed to be convinced that you could polish up enough. You’ve exceeded my expectations, well done!

For a queen who alleges she can’t find her way around an editing program, i have to say your snail glam is very cute and well done! Not the most mind blowing entry of the night, but cohesive and cute for sure. Your goo-lagoon-a-go-go really nailed it for me. Super glam and sexy while still being impactful and elevated from just a simple resort look. Your Spongebob eleganza on the other hand is a bit of a miss for me. It’s skewing a little too costumey for me -- it’s not really a FASHION moment as much as it is a reference to the original look, which is also a costume. Although the look itself is a bit underwhelming to me, I’d like to commend you for always selling your runways well every week… I don’t think this has been brought up in panel before but we appreciate the effort you put in to selecting and making your sets and poses every week. A lot of girls this season have let background choices cheapen their runways but you’ve consistently been elevating your looks through the way you present them… but unfortunately this week, the main runway is just a bit lackluster.

Greetings, Jenna. I don’t really like your bikini look. It’s too predictable and pedestrian, the only gaggy moment is the gigantic hat which would normally be enough to win me over, but this just looks like one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills relaxing by the pool. There isn’t enough of a concept to win me over. As for your eleganza, I also think this was a bit of a flop moment. Your interpretation was far too literal and it didn’t feel like you made anything new or inventive or put a Spongebob twist into your own drag.

Welcome to the panel Jenna, and of course Isaiah from over her [SPINS WHEEL OF BODY PARTS]. Your bikini look is wonderful to me! I have a feeling the other judges might get at it being a little predictable but I think she’s stunning and I’d for sure be afraid to exist anywhere near her on the beach! Your snail is actually very cute, I don’t really understand the actual shell design but I don’t think I care. To be honest your eleganza leaves a bit to be desired. I appreciate your reference and how beautiful you actually look, but it’s kind of a direct recreation of your reference! We talked about the yellow skin, and while yes that itself is very literal I was hoping that the rest of your presentation would step further outside the box. It’s the yellow skin AND the capey dress moment AND the boots AND the guitar AND the hat. You do look amazing as always, I just wanted a little more unfortunately!

I think this was (generally) a cute week for you but still in need a little bit of pushing in some areas for me. I think the approach for your snail was unique and a cute reference, but ultimately it just ends up looking like Gary with some lips and lashes… we want to see something new! Your swimwear look is absolutely sickening. I feel like the night look wasn’t quite as necessary, but I still love both looks. Super sexy and cool, very Rihanna, very Saint-Tropez. Your eleganza is cute, but it feels a little literal for me, especially for the level of creativity I know you can bring. The most interesting part of this outfit -- the hair -- also feels like territory you’ve tread before, more successfully, in your Higher The Hair runway.

Heyyy Jezebelll…. First of all, I have to take the blame for the lack of success for your Squidward eleganza because I encouraged you to take this artRave approach. Sorry! However, for me, my issues are with the execution rather than the concept. Your tentacles look sort of blurry? I think if they had harder, cleaner edges the look would’ve been more successful because currently it’s all just sort of looking very rough, same for your snail. However, you definitely have my favourite bikini look tonight. It’s sexy and cool and unique, and I love all of the details! I think these looks would’ve worked better if you presented them as a reveal instead of a day to night, but that’s just being nitpicky and I think you really ate this category.

I’ll start by talking about how fabulous your bikini look is, absolutely the best of the night! I think your two-fer was entirely redundant and you shoulda had more faith in the stand-alone value of your actual bikini lewk (and you could have saved that jacket for the reunion!) Regarding your snail honestly I hate that I can see the rounded edges of your paintbrush tool to try to create the effect you were going for, I really don’t care for her execution at all. Conceptually I do really enjoy your eleganza, I just really WISH YOU WEREN’T SO AFRAID OF DARK SHADOWS! The tangibility (if that’s a word) and how shapely chaotic this piece is would really benefit from better rendering. Clearly you’re a great artist and your eye is incredible, it’s just a drawing technique I’d like to see you work on.

I wish you hadn’t approached this week with such a defeatist attitude because there are elements in most of these entries that I appreciate, but we can tell you kind of threw in the towel here -- especially in the snail glam. The hair and makeup on your swimwear look are really cute, I love the bumped ends and the big clips, super adorable and Barbie-esque, but the bikini itself is just a little meh. With the Patrick look, I’m into the texture of the garment and the styling details showcase your really eclectic style well, I just don’t really /get it/ as a look holistically. The wig seems like a random choice, and the glasses seem out of place and hide your makeup which is usually one of your strongest suits.

Oh Ebony, I wish this had worked out better. In our walkthrough, I was excited to see what you were going to do because it seemed like we had come up with some exciting concepts for you to execute and I really thought you could’ve won this week. I understand you didn’t have much time to really do what you wanted, I hope everything is okay! It’s just a shame none of these looks really met the mark because you’re so close to the finish line. That being said, I love your hair in the bikini look!

First of all, I really do love your bikini look. While the background is distracting, I love the hair and the clips, your face looks good, all your skin tones match beautifully, your body is fit!! I won’t address your snail because I know you didn’t try. I guess my comments on your eleganza are that I’m impressed with elements of this. You have a lot of impressive graphic design techniques on display here, but you even said yourself that there’s no real concept and it kind of shows! No tea no shade but there was a bit of a “why did Maya pick Larry the Lobster as one of the four main characters” moment when I saw this look. You have a lot to show off in the finale if you haven’t fully sabotaged yourself this week, I hope you’re mindful of this!
