This challenge is called “Territory Tournament” and it’s a spin on the classic group game comp “Territory Wars.
To begin, we will go down the list of where veterans placed in the opening challenge to determine matchups. The #1 veteran will pick first and have their choice of any team to match up against. After they pick, the next best placing veteran remaining will have their choice of anyone left. This will continue until we have 6 matchups. If anyone is not present, they will be skipped.
On “GO”, you and your partner can post in the Territory forums, #1-9. Your Goal is for one of you to have the last post in as many forums as possible after 3 minutes. Whichever team in the matchup has more forums at “TIME” wins.
After Round 1, the 6 winning teams will advance to Round 2, where we will repeat the match up process with those 6 teams. The winning team in each Round 2 matchup earns a spot in the Tribunal.
Oh, and one thing. You will all be competing at THE SAME TIME. You and your partner don’t need to actually get the last post in a forum, you just have to beat YOUR OPPONENTS. So, if in a territory, you’re the 4th to last post at TIME, but all 3 posts after you are in different matchups, YOU earn that point.
This makes the last post metric unreliable and it much harder to figure out which Territories you have / don’t have.
The 3 teams that win both of their matchups will form the tribunal.
