As zuelke said in their new blog about creating a tengaged congress, and in and of itself it is a fantastic idea and a very necessary idea.
But, even though we have a new games coordinator who is doing an excellent job, he is just getting as many mails as randomize about new (largely terrible) ideas.
So that is why we need to elect certain people to help make tengaged a more fun place.
Tengaged Elections would work like follows:
Everyone would register to vote for a congressman. They will all answer a short questionnaire, in which they will placed into an election category. They will elect a congressman in a poll, who will work to make their tengaged lives better. Some times your "districts" will change. Say your placed in the "Frat Presidents district" but you resign as president, you will be placed into a new district next election cycle.
Any tengager can submit a bill to the other congressman to vote, if it is passed than it can now take place in the tengaged universe. If a bill is unrealistic, randomize and johneh reserve the right to veto it.
I think a good start for the districts would be:
Frat Presidents
Group Gamers (includes hosts and players of any type of group)
Hall of Famers
Shop Owners
Shop Designers
"New Game/Idea Creators" (these are the people who always blog about new games and ideas) randomize has a vote johneh has a vote
If you don't fit into any of the categories above, than you will be assigned a group based off of color level.
(sky, gold, blood, silver)
(black, brown, red, purple, blue)
(dark green, light green, orange, yellow, white levels who have been on TG for a month/have at least 50 karma)

Bloggers
Frookies Addicts
HG'ers
If you guys think of any other rules let me know, and I will surely add them. I think this could really lighten the load off johneh and randomize.
An example of a bill would be:
The creation of 6 new color levels: Reality Star, Reality All-Star, Reality King/Queen, Reality TV Star. Submitted by group gamer congressman @groupgamercongressmanm
Randomize said they new levels couldn't work on the servers

The Return of The Duel:
The return of the old TG game The Duel and the abolishment of the Hunger Games.
Randomize said that would work with the new server space, Johneh agrees, all congressmen vote, Bill passes 11-0. The HG will be abolished AND THE DUEL RETURNS!
Every 2 months, people who have been in a district for 2 election cycles can run to challenge their incumbent. If they win, than they are the new congressman.
Each district will have it's own group (a closed one) where the congressman is the admin. Their they can discuss, debate and vote to prevent multis from being made to rig the elections. Only people in the district can be in the group.

Not all people who play group games would be in that category. Those people who spend most of their time on TG playing/hosting group game should have influence to push a group gamers agenda, if that is what you meant.
With those districts, wouldn't someone be able to be in multiple districts at once? I think that would be unfair. Plus I don't think people should be in Congress for two months, that's way too long.
