I liked it, but REALLY mixed reviews among the rest of the people I discussed it with. Then again, I can get into pretty much any competitive reality show.
Fritzyyyyy I hear CBS is going to continue with the lawsuit now that the show aired to keep trying to prove copyright issues and also go after individuals for violation of non-disclosure and all that still.. after watching the show, do u see a lot of similarities as how the comps are run, the "characters", the house, the general concept and all that nonsese??? jw :)
But the thing is about that part xxjaym is that they haven't stolen everything from Big Brother. Yeah the whole feed thing (which isn't 24 hours), the house style, and other little non big things. Like I would sue if they had powers like big brother, but re-named them like Head of the Glass and Power of Removing, but no they don't. THeir concept is something that is unique and I'm guessing BB is jealous that they couldn't do it. FFS they tried to do BBUK format and look how that went.
LOL I know, I totally see how its a different show and a semi-different concept.. but i also agree that its effed up that 19 former BB employees/producers violated non-compete/non-disclosures to go to a different network and create a "similar" show which they knew was illegal because they were violating their terms and conditions from BB. if ABC on it's own had made this show without any form BB employees then i wouldn't be opposed to watching at all, but it's kinda crappy that they took what they did on BB and violated contracts to create another show :/ being someone who studied law, i just can't get past that part of it. even though its a different show, what they did was still really messed up
"Houseguests, the power is up for Glass! Jeffrey, as outgoing Head of Glasshold you are not eligible to compete, this copetition is called, Minority Drools!"
