This is taking a massive risk on a do or die round but I'm tryna be true to myself. This is pretty much the darkest song by the Backstreet Boys. It is a well-paced, very emotional song with beautiful vocals (the vocals were nominated for a Grammy). It deals with feelings of grief and loneliness and the imagery used in the music video really helps deliver the message. This song means something to every member of the group, as they have dealt with these emotions recent to the production of the song (Brian had open-heart surgery to fix a birth defect, AJ lost a close friend of his to a car accident, Kevin lost his father, Howie lost his sister to Lupus only one year prior). Knowing the message and background behind the song makes it incredibly chilling and emotional, which is why it's my submission for a power ballad
