I haven’t rewatched get out since it was in theaters, so I don’t remember it too well. I enjoyed both but for entirely different reasons. You’ll have to get back to me on your thoughts 🙂 I still need to see shape of water. I like the director but wasn’t really excited about the story
k4r4k I love horror and comedy so get out really resonated with me as something fresh and unique that we haven't seen in the genre lately. Most of the new horrors are just slashers that pile on the gore but have no substance. Shape of water is very predictable and derivative with cliche writing, its basically the retelling of the creature from the black lagoon but a little more edgy and sexual. I'll watch billboards in the next day or so and get back to ya ;)
