Bringing back an old series of mine. It sort of dropped off but I'm gonna try again.
Song for today: Me, Myself and Hyde by Ice Nine Kills
Review of the song (new feature of this series that I am trying out)
Me, myself and Hyde is such an amazing song. The song starts off super light and sort of sounds like a ballad. I sort of enjoy this part because of the vocalist's voice. Not many bands can pull off doing this but with this band they don't just get away with it but in my opinion they nail it and it just makes the song that much better.
Then, the song gets hard-hitting and heavy which I love. It adds shock value to the song. It isn't for the faint of heart but I love that. I mean we're not little kids we can handle a bit of mass murder.
The song proceeds into alternating between the two parts. Personally I think they could've been a little more creative than just reusing the same chorus three times and continuous alternation between styles.
Maybe they could've done something different, just seems a bit cookie cutter. I still think this song is a piece of art though and I listen to it on repeat.
