Potato chips aren't good for you. All those sugar snacks many of us eat on a daily basis aren't good for you. The vast majority of foods we eat on a daily basis aren't good for you. But they're still legal. Why not weed?
Devils advocate here. Chips dont mess you up. So you can drive and eat a chip and not kill a person. Driving while under the influence of pot is dangerous.
