Exciting news: I have decided to host Survivor again!
For those who don't know me, on-and-off from 2014-2017, I hosted Winner, Prez, and Fobby's Survivor. The bulk of our series' run took place from 2014-2015, so it has been a minute and if you're new to the site you likely don't know me. Back then, I tried to set my series apart from others with a focus on providing a unique game experience. I will continue to attempt to do this and provide each participant with a fresh take on Survivor.
Features of Ethan's Survivor will include:
- An interactive Viewer's Lounge including sweepstakes and other activities to enhance the viewing experience.
- Edgic and Voting Chart created for each season, available for all to see at conclusion of season.
- Over 90% of challenges will be original creations.
- New and exciting twists and turns.
- Potentially a Wikia dedicated to the series
- Fun
I want this series to feel like a collaborative experience and not like one crazy guy running it, so if anyone has any suggestions or advice on the following, or if you're interested in helping out, let me know!
Notes about a few things...
Viewer's Lounge: There will be Viewers Lounge though the extent of information to be shared in it has not been decided. I have had a couple incidents in the past that lead to damaging the integrity of the season which sucked and wasn't fair to the players - they should not have to worry about that. So the Viewers Lounge will either be:
- Open to everyone I know with no game-related information shared.
- Open to only those I have known and trusted new players with information shared.
- An informal Skype group devoted to discussing the season.
Logos:
I will likely be simply pulling fan-made logos already out there on the Internet. However, if you are skilled at this and would like to create logos for me - I would definitely welcome it! I'd even pay someone like $10 or so for a quality logo if you have proven experience in making cool-ass logos.
Wikia:
Similarly to the Logo thing - if anyone has experience with creating and managing Wikias for group games, I would be willing to pay you to upkeep a new Wikia for this series!
Co-Hosting:
If anyone is interested in helping out and hosting, let me know! Obviously I will have had to know you and you'd likely need some hosting experience for that. I would still handle the vast majority of everything.
