Okay so basically I had the worst day at work ever! So this older lady came up to me and told me she found a phone in the girls bathroom but she said that I should "announce it" mind you I work at a Chick Fil-A we don't have any intercom since it is a fast food place. So I go to my manager and give him the phone the lady turned in. Okay so this lady wouldn't leave me and my manager alone and was very adamant about me going around the dining room asking anyone if they lost their phone. So My manager asked me to do so and I was like yeah no big deal. So this bitch proceeds to follow me while I was going to each table asking about the phone. I asked a table and another lady said it was her daughters phone and that she could just give it to her in a minute since she was at another table with her softball team eating lunch. So there was a card in the phone case and I asked her for her daughters name so I could do a safety check. Everything checked out and I gave the phone to this girls mom. So the crazy bitch was right behind me and started interrogating me about who the phone belonged to and whether or not I looked at the mom's ID. This crazy bitch started yelling at me and the mom at the table rolled her eyes and showed the crazy old lady her ID and while I was still being yelled at I just walked away and went into the back. Today hadn't been a good day from the beginning with having a bad day with my depression and I have been very stressed out. The last thing I needed was this crazy bitch screaming at me and then she screamed at my co worker demanding that she tell me to ID people. I am just in dining room. I am not a fucking manager. Needless to say due to everything adding up I started crying in the back and my other manager was helping me calm down and was awesome with me. I have never lost it or cried at any job I have ever had. Just be kind to people you don't know what kind of a day they are having or what they are currently dealing with in their life.

smh old people dont have anything better to do than be bitches
Tomorrow will be a better day :) plus why do people call millennials entitled? It’s so baffling, I work in customer service too and I can honestly say that the majority of my worst customers have all been over 40.
I’m happy you have a really good manager. I worked at Dairy Queen and my manager was a big reason in why I left. She was terrible to her staff and blatantly rude to customers for no reason. Sometimes we can’t control our emotions and that’s okay. Crying is a very good stress reliever so don’t feel bad about it. I’m glad you made it through. Stay Strong. #CrzayLadyIsCancelledParty
i bet her name is Karen and people called Karen stereotypically take the kids, are ani-vacc ppl and ask to speak to the manager so take no notice of Karen she's just a bitch anyway
This can happen anywhere, but yeah, i'm really not surprised this happened at a chick fil-a. It'd be the kind of people they attract. I mean, you know they donate to hate groups, right? On the plus side, you can be super proud of yourself that you didn't escalate this situation. You handled it like a pro and that's pretty damn cool. You demonstrated EXTREME patience, quick thinking, and also that you knew where your boundaries and limitations were. high-five.
The same could be said about her! You don’t know what she’s dealing with either. Maybe she just just lost her husband or child. It all about perspective:)
awww that sucks :(
when i worked fast food, some old man came in and demanded the free coffee or something and i nicely said we dont have that sir and he yelled and yelled and then demanded the manager and i got him and the manager then said just give it to him (even tho that promotion was over) and thennnnn the old man proceeded to yell how awful i was at my job and i should be fired etc etc so the entire restaurant could hear and yes i cried in the back too but no one was nice to calm me down lol
so at least u had that :)
