About the SHOP system of Tengaged...

Jan 21, 2010 by theguybrarian
imageShouldn't there be a rule against shopkeepers buying their own designs and gifting them?  Especially when they retail for 1 T.  Seems like a giant clusterf*ck to me....

Julie wouldn't approve!

Please discuss... I'm interested to hear people's views on this, or just the SHOP system in general!

Well the thought process (I imagine) is that shop users have to spend a bit of money to open their shop in the first place, so in order to recoup the money, they really have to sell at good competitive prices. But some players know that they can't recoup the money and take the hit of opening the shop just to get good designs that might not get to auctions.

It's a cheap way of subverting the system, but tengaged works a lot on supply-demand principles. So if a player wants to go rock bottom, they can do so, because they know they can compensate in other areas (games that give t$)
