Quick summary of my game if you are interested:
Starting off the game, I was immediately targeted as a counter with semajdude (someone I knew prior to the game starting) and I was able to avoid the block not only then but for 11th (there were also rumblings of my name for 12th, but not sure it was an official set). I initially was playing the middle as I knew there were two "groups" but I did not feel like I was a priority to either side, so I wanted to break some existing relationships up first before aligning myself with one side. I had prior relationships to semajdudeJoshbb1999 and Vixens and those were the three that I planned on being loyal to (although that loyalty was not reciprocated by one of them). My first half of the game was strong as I was one of the last 4 unnominated.
After going up for 10th with Joshlyn, my game got a lot more challenging as not only was I losing a loyal ally, but I was in the minority. I was also labeled as a popularity threat and from there it was very difficult to keep my name out of sets. After Joshlyn left, the only person I fully trusted at that point was John, however, it was pretty apparent that we were going to be targeted together as a set as well. Although we were not able to stay off the block for 7th, we were able to get the set we wanted up for 6th (Semaj/Owen). I honestly did not expect to stay against John but I continued to work on my relationships with others in the house (Justin and Zack especially). However, it was also pretty obvious that Zack and I would be targeted as the two biggest popularity threats as we both had survived two polls. Again, I did not expect to stay against Zack, but I knew if I did that I would end up making finals. This game was challenging, I did not just lay down and let people nominate me because I thought I could rely on my popularity, but again, it was very difficult to get others up, especially those like Evan who were being protected for being unpopular. I really appreciate the love and support this week, no matter what happens, but I would obviously love to win this game!
