Finalists, we’ve reached the end of the road. Congrats on making it here! Here is the final task.
YOUR SONG
You will need to send me and Becksta20 3 songs from three different decades.
Beck’s Choice: The 80s
Tim’s Choice: The Present
Freestyle: Since we never got winner’s choice on the wheel, you can pick any other decade for your third song.
That’s it. No theme - just good music. Not required, but feel free to explain why you made your selections.
80’s: Africa by toto
- I chose this song because it’s just one of those songs that when it comes on the radio you just have to sing along even if you don’t know every word.
The present: stronger by Kelly clarkson
- this song was chosen because it’s got a great message and just a great fun upbeat son by the amazing Kelly clarkson.
2000’s: beautiful by Christina Aguilera
- what can I say! This song was picked because it also is very inspirational but it’s not upbeat and her vocals are so raw and amazing.
My first song is from the 80s and it is Holding out for a Hero.
I wanted to started out with and upbeat and fun song but which also tells my story of me still waiting on my hero xoxo
My second song is Save myself.
This is about how I constantly give and give and then the song explains it all, cuz im a victim
The Final song is going to stay true to me as an individual so I can going to be risky and do country by a Queen
For my last song I am ending with how with everything going on in the world, people's ignorance, violence, covid, etc; Love will always Win
For my 80s song, I wanted to go for a great 80s movie since I just love 80s movies. Such a fun song and a great movie.
I really wanted to choose a song for the present that represented me and I was so close to choosing my favorite song right now which is by Illenium. However I had to switch it because it was too risky. This song however is one of my other favorite go to every day songs. I love Sia's voice and it's one of my fight songs <3
And finally I decided to go with Fleetwood Mac for my players choice since I missed out on the opportunity in a previous 70s round. Absolutely love this song
incase i cant read rules correctly, change for my last song
This was my next choice anyways of Queen Carrie, showing that all it takes a little bit of love to make a change
