9/11 happened so long ago why are White Americans so obsessed with it. We had more people die of COVID. It just because white Americans died

Ive said it 100 times and ill say it again.

9/11 was a tragedy, absolutely.

But our response was magnitudes more tragic. The US government toppled economies, destroyed peoples lives, murdered over a half a million innocent civilians in the middle east, created multiple terrorist organizations in the quest to defeat 1 terrorist organization. The list could go on for decades, just like the pointless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

My dads health was badly affected by it so it鈥檚 very personal to me. It happened almost 20 years ago but it still affects my dad today.
