PREVIOUSLY ON SURVIVOR: After Rachel's unanimous vote out, there were 3 original Samatau: Brett, Carter, and Sierra; and 2 remaining Asaga: Jeremiah and Wes. However, Sierra promised to Jeremiah and Wes that she'd go to the final 3 with them, leaving the duo of Brett and Carter in the minority unbeknownst to them. Everyone was paranoid because they knew there was an idol in play, and that tonight was the last night you could use it, so somebody was going to be safe no matter what. Brett wanted to target Wes, since he was the less likely to have the idol, and Jeremiah wanted to target Carter because of his skill at immunity challenges, and he thought the odds of him finding 2 idols in one season were low. They head to tribal council.
