the racism on big brother. Jack had an irrational psychotic hatred for kemi which at the very LEAST was partially fueled by racism. He constantly made gorilla jokes and had to be reprimanded by the diary room every other day so that it didnt escalate to an aaryn level.
literally 3/4 of the people sent to segregation were the dark skinned people and ALL the dark skinned people were the first 3 out.
yes the racism might not be all as blatant as jack but reality tv in general highlights those more subtle influences and when in big brother when the cast is largely white mactor-esque people with a few token others thrown plus the availability of live feeds that "other-ism" is MUCH more apparent sometimes to a shocking extent.
Yes it's not bb15 levels of Ginamarie literally throwing out the "er" but microaggresions are real and anyone can see how BAD it was especially if you watch the Kemi bashing supercut.
It's no coincidence every single season is all the pretty young white folks making a big alliance excluding the minorities and picking them off 1 by 1 and when they're already evicted they continue to bash them in the nastiest ways on top of their race "jokes" they make during group talks. Racism is different in 2019. No one is going to admit they have racist feelings or straight up say slurs, they do it differently but can't get away with it when they're watched 24/7 馃榿. I feel bad for none of em. Like I said in my blog it'll all be forgettin tommorow they already have half of the white alumni "feeling sorry" for them and Jackson left with half a million and a girlfriend. Bye keep that sympathy for someone that needs it
