that the more recruits/stunt castings on a season of a reality show automatically correlates to how horrible the cast was but thinking about it if you look hard enough you can find GOOD recruits
for example TAR30 was comprised SOLELY of stunt casted pairs (that im somewhat sure are almost if not all recruits) and it was amazing season where people all raced HARD. The genius 1 was a new concept full of stunt casted gimmicky ppl/tv personalities and every episode was a mentally draining nonstop strategy session of EVERY SINGLE CONTESTANT trying to one up everyone.
so its really not an excuse anymore imo, it just comes down to the casting directors producing shit casts. and when you look at it the other way look how many #superfans on survivor are unbearable (spencer, cochran, ryan, the new "student of the game" movement) or how many big brother "fans" make some rlly dumb moves in recent seasons (jessica, hayleigh off the top of my head)
