when the cast was revealed on rff when the race started filming i admit i had my doubts because some of the teams were a bit gimmicky (the most gimmicky of which proved me wrong SO hard) yet the cast is DELIVERING. Even the more boring teams provided a laugh or two each this leg (the twins printing the clues on their arms in desperation and cedric and shawn dabbing whenever possible LMAO) which lends itself directly to the quality of the season
The tasks are all VERY good this season. The detour spoke for itself how hard it was and what could have been a processional roadblock led to more placement shifts with the navigation involved which was very smart. The Head to Head was the worst part of the leg for obvious reasons but I've already been conditioned from TARCAN to lose a fave with the very similar "faceoff" twist so i was already prepared.
speaking of which goat yoga being the absolute mess team of the season so far is SO hilarious to me. the fact that they got into some passive aggressive twitter drama and apparently arent friends anymore irl is both sad but also hilarious. like just watch this video the way the camera pans to each of them passive aggressively smile while the other speaks (while simultaneously shading the other) LMAO i cant
all in all this season has GREAT potential and even though we lost a potential bottomgoddess team the overall cast is VERY STRONG so i am not worried. jessica breakout episode next week incoming as well < 3
