MontrealScrewjob There is such a thing as a hypoactive thyroid, though. I can imagine that it's sometimes easy to confuse hypo- and hyper- as the terms are so similar in spelling, but mean opposite things.
Of course, if the above stuff is true, that doesn't excuse the things he said. I'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt in one area I think people like MontrealScrewjob are focusing too much on.
