Night 5 Battles Notes:

1. Back to catch up again but hey I'm excited for the knockouts so I can listen to them individually again which is a good thing.
2. OKAY HELLO SUNDAY SNAPPED, like that battle was insane and I loved every minute of that. From Lauren really connecting to the message of the song to those two girls just pulling everything but the kitchen sink and getting the most improved award from what I heard in auditions. Kelly can really work well with young kids and I'm really ready to hear what both are doing in the knockouts because I'm so glad Blake stole.
3. First battle it was obvious right from the moment the pair was announced who was going to win. Like Jake has so much more experience over Caroline, I like Caroline's voice but overall I think Jake is much stronger and he's such a unique artist I want to see more of.
4. Second battle is actually something I was intrigued by, like I wish they could sing together as a duo from here on out because they actually sound really good together, but I agree with Preston winning just because he has a lot more range and he can experiment with a lot more.
5. I didn't mind not seeing all of the Ricky vs Jordan battle because they were low on my rankings to begin with however what I heard of Ricky I was really impressed with because that was just one crazy run and I was amazed.
6. I AM PISSED THAT CALVIN WON HIS BATTLE ESPCIALLY OVER SOMEONE IN MY TOP 5! Like that is not fucking right and Gwen honestly made a huge mistake with letting Brennen go, like Calvin needs to fuck off right now, he's lucky I hate Alex even more than I do him or else he would be on the bottom again.
7. Okay time to continue the episode into the knockouts and looking at the pairings I'm so excited to see what everyone is going to sing and how Taylor is going to coach.
