Night 3 Battles Notes:

1. Okay sorry for it being late but hey I'm a busy man and I got to make priorities
2. Some really good battles tonight, and I enjoyed almost all of them, even the montaged battles seemed like one I would love to listen to.
3. The best battle of the night by far goes to Jared vs. Will, like I love how Jared's voice sounded in the battle however Will is just so fucking entertaining and he just completely stole the performance. It makes me really want to see what he does for the playoffs
4. I will say though Joana vs. Matthew was such a good battle too since I know how hard that song is to sing and I think both of them rocked it. I think Matthew's voice really shone through and he made it his own so I'm sad to see him go, I think he could have gone far if he won the battle, but glad to see Joana still alive.
5. Jake just stole the win from Steve, like I loved Steve's voice in the blinds however Jake just has this huge presence in his voice that makes me want to hear more from him and he has that soulful country flair that I like.
6. I was honestly so shocked at the performances during Kiara vs. Royce. I love Royce to bits however I think he was the weaker performer when I expected him to be the stronger one, and the opposite for Kiara, I expected her to be weak compared to him but no she was strong and I'm glad Kelly stole her because she has so much potential.
7. I just can't get behind Kyndal's voice, like she has a beautiful voice don't get me wrong I'm just not feeling it and I guess the coaches disagree with me. I think James won the battle and I'm glad to see him still alive but that battle didn't do anything for me.
8. When a certain someone spoiled to me that Damali moved on from battles I was a little miffed, but I'm warming up to her, espcially the clip they gave us of her performance I think she has a mystery to her voice and I can't wait to see more (Also Aili James if you spoil another thing for me before the episode airs I'm going to kill you, I already know about another spoiler because of you as well)
9. I really wish I could have seen Brennan vs. Gracee because they were my two favorite females on Kelly's team and it pisses me off they montaged it. I'm so sad to see Brennan go because I really loved her audition but I'm excited to see what Gracee pulls off next.
10. The most boring and by far worst battle of the night goes to Marina vs. Ricky, like I would have preferred Ricky just singing the song alone because his voice matches it perfectly, and I think he was holding back because of Marina changing it up and so he was trying to play keep up. Marina on the other hand was just boring like I wanted something more from her but I got nothing she did not deserve a steal or a save.
11. I'm ready to watch tomorrow's episode because I'm excited about no montaged battles and what I hope is 3 amazing battles (I'm serious Aili no more spoilers)

Jameslu I mean you spoiled Damali on her audition blog and then you spoiled another winner during the battles in your group game so I think it's a fair trade of me putting Kyndal in the bottom of my rankings :p
spinfur okay true I did give a lot of spoilers to you sorry :P BUT Kyndal's tone is so beautiful! Now I'm nervous to see what you say about Marybeth Byrd ;(
His rasp was what put me off this performance a little. But he's audition was amazing, I think song choice got him in the Battles.
Yeah I noticed that song choice is a huge problem in battles like I get what the coaches are going for but I think maybe Dying In LA or Roaring 20s might have been a better Panic song for the two of them but since Blake is country he doesnt know much about Pop
I also felt as though Royce vs. Kiara, Royce had a bad song choice and it was more suited for Kiara to win since we heard way more of Kiara singing then Royce, I'm just glad Gwen made Royce win to keep him in.
Kyndal has the best voice ;(
