I need to get my thoughts out somewhere. Some may call it karma which is fine. But this sucks so much. I had Christmas plans to go down to the coast and then the casino with my family and watch sports games and gamble and drink all next week.
Then I had New Years plans afterwards going to the mountains with some friends. Having to cancel trips that I’ve been looking forward to for a long time sucks so much.
I have severe body aches especially in my neck, shoulders, and back. I’ve had a headache for over a day that won’t go away. I’ve developed a slight cough and my throat is very dry but not sure. Overall extremely tired.
I’m pretty sure I got it at my brothers wedding this past weekend which sucks so much. I’ve been so careful most of the past year and half and gotten my shots and worn a mask in larger groups. I wouldn’t have missed his wedding for the world, but I just pray he’s able to enjoy his honeymoon and not deal with this as well.
I suddenly now have 10 free days of laying in my bed and just staying inside the house so I guess if there are any tv shows or movies you can recommend, please put them below :(
I tested positive last week and fully recover some point this week, but it does suck and I hope you can get through it with the least amount of repercussions on your holiday plans.
That's so awful, I'm really sorry, missing all your plans with your family and friends sucks, being sick is always bad but on the holidays its so much worse. I hope you recover well.
