there was a tragic and fatal accident in a city connected to mine. Basically a truck's brakes stopped working in the middle of a traffic jam in the main road and it ran over 3 cars leaving several injuried and 3 people killed that were in a local transport car. Those 3 bodies took hours to get out so they could identify them and inform their families.
The driver, 19, was the son of the owner of the company he was working for and he didnt even have a professional license like he just ended 3 people's lives for his own irresponsability plus the mechanical failure, so he was arrested.
I havent stopped thinking ever since like oh my god, that could have been me and how fragile we are. In the matter of seconds your life could meet its end, and it wouldnt even be your fault, you just happened to be at the wrong place and time.
And like now everywhere i am or go, i always look to every side but now i find myself looking upside in case something falls on me bc it can make the difference.
Its so stupid how insignificant our existences are to the universe.
it was so sad lemonfaceshayybayy today in the local newspaper they posted the victims' personal stories and it felt like i lost my parents or my brother. you never know if you'll come back home
glad it wasnt u tho...
