but how does this captcha solve the hacking problem? its not like actual bots are logging into other ppl's accounts. The hackers simply found out the pw's..?!?!

They use programs that enters a bunch of different usernames and passwords and compares all of the usernames to each password. They probably compared a list of usernames to dictionary words then using brute force which takes forever. Captcha will not allow them to mass login attempt accounts since the program won鈥檛 be able to answer the question
sihz If that鈥檚 what鈥檚 happening, I would think they would be able to unlock every old user who hasn鈥檛 changed there password in years. That鈥檚 really sad people are committing a crime of a data breach over this website.
