ALL STARS
— Tara Reid, 8th Place, one of more known stars of the cast, Tara Reid came to the Australian Outback with one goal in mind; clean up her formerly tarnished reputation. Immediately, she bonded with Ryan Seacrest and the two agreed to do what they could to reach the end. Soon into the game, the duo were joined by Wayne Messam, Stephen Curry, and Sue Johanson to form a super alliance. The alliance was put to the test early on, however, when Tara and Ryan disagreed on cutting Sue loose due to her age, a move that almost cost Tara her game when Sue attempted to turn the tables on her. Despite the struggle, Sue was ousted and Tara remained loyal to her alliance through the next two votes. Tara entered the merge with her tribe, however, at a 6-4 disadvantage. Knowing she was a target, Tara socialized with the opposing Ogakor tribe to try and earn a few extra days but they all mostly saw through it, notably Megan, a player who felt Tara was her biggest threat. Despite that, Tara survived the first two merge votes, however, at the top eight when it was down to she and her BFF Ryan, Megan lead her alliance into sending her home and Tara landed as jury member two.

— Drew Barrymore, 7th Place, arguably the biggest name in the cast, Drew Barrymore came to the Australian Outback and was loved instantly by her tribe. Despite that, she was not included on the formation of the majority alliance on night one between former reality star Megan Hauserman, Danielle McEwan, Harry Styles, Samara Weaving, and Henry Czerny. Knowing this, she still bonded closely with Jaden Smith and Steven Adams, the trio knowing they were on the bottom. Despite that, Drew continued to remain postive which she hoped would earn her safety over her other two adversaries. Her luck sailed through the first two rounds when her tribe won immunities, however, the trio was severed back-to-back when Steven Adams and Jaden Smith were ousted. Drew, alone, was able to single-handily win the next tribal immunities for her tribe, leading her tribe into the merge with a 6-4 advantage. Calling her former tribe crazy for keeping her, she proved this true when she won the first two individal immunity challenges. Things were going great after three of the former Kucha tribe was ousted, however, Megan Hauserman strategized against her when she didn’t win immunity, calling her the biggest threat moving forward, and despite Ryan Seacrest being the final former-Kucha, Drew Barrymore was blindsided in seventh place for being too far a liability - - risk wise - - to carry forward into the end game.

— Harry Styles, 6th Place, the English heartthrob, Harry Styles came to the Australian Outback and was instantly the heroic fan-favorite everyone loved. Performing exceptionally well in the tribal immunities, he was viewed as a physical asset early on. Additionally, he was a kind castaway around the beach and everyone enjoyed his presence, a large reason why he was included in on the majority alliance with Danielle McEwan, Megan Hauserman, Henry Czerny, and Samara Weaving. He constantly noted he refused to blindside anyone and wanted to play the game with integrity within his allaince. The fivesome controlled the early stages of the game together - - despite Megan almost orchestrating Samara’s pre-merge blindside, a move that Harry did not believe was right and his nice nature manipulated Megan into staying loyal. It was this move that solidifed his final two with Samara and the duo controlled the game from within the majority alliance sailing into the merge. Harry proved again his physical prowess when he won an individaul immunity but it was also this win that started the chain reaction that lead to his entire alliance - - including Samara - - into viewing him as the biggest threat - - strategically, socially, and physically - - leading into the finals and after Ryan Seacrest won immunity and the alliance was forced to turn on each other, Harry was blindsided in a 5-1 vote, landing him in sixth place.

— Samara Weaving, 4th Place, the Australian sweetheart, Samara Weaving came into the game hoping not only to win but to let people know she isn’t Margot Robbie. Starting off somewhat in a disaster, after almost passing out in the first immunity challenge, many of her tribesmates feared her weak physical shape would be a detriment. That said, however, she was included in the majority alliance with Danielle McEwan, Megan Hauserman, Henry Czerny, and Harry Styles. Knowing this, she vowed to step it up in the challenges to make her tribe proud and stunned everyone when she was the reason Ogakor won the gross food challenge after Sue Johanson threw up the grub. After this performance, Samara became more confident in her abilities and was soon socializing with everyone - - including the minority players. Megan soon saw this as a threat and wanted Samara out, convincing Henry and Megan into flipping, however, Samara’s relationship with Harry - - and his nice nature - - was helfpul in flipping it back into Samara’s favor. Despite almost being a pre-merge boot, Samara sailed into the merge with a 6-4 majority and presuming a top spot in the totem pole, stayed loyal to her tribe and alliance. In the most infamous moment of the season, Megan convinced Samara to flip to her and Danielle for a final three girls’ alliance but in order to do so, Samara had to backstab Harry and betray him, banishing him in sixth. When Ryan Seacrest left next, the girls + Henry Czerny made up the final four but when Henry won immunity, despite a vote from him to force a tie, past votes came back to haunt her and she landed in fourth place, getting chastised by the jury for letting Megan manipulate her. Samara was our fan favorite this season.

— Megan Hauserman, Runner Up, the celebrity with the most reality TV exposure, Megan came to Australia to maintain her name and star power and that she did - - becoming quite arguably the biggest villain of the first two seasons. Knowing that competitive reality TV requires a strong alliance and strategy, she quickly banded together a core group within her tribe - - Danielle McEwan, the player she wished to take to the end as her “little sister,” Harry Styles, Henry Czerny, and Samara Weaving. The fivesome controlled their original tribe and looked top-solid. That said, Megan quickly became power hungry and was threatened by Samara’s social game so much so that she almost ruined the alliance by backstabbing her, a move Harry Styles helped prevent. Despite this bump in the road, Samara remained loyal to Megan and the five sailed into the merge with a majority of 6-4, Drew Barrymore also advancing. Megan was quickly viewed as the leader and she controlled the first few votes into the merge. When Drew did not hold immunity, Megan convinced her alliance, despite Ryan Seacrest still being in the game, to blindside her in seventh place. It was this move that solidifed Megan as the power player of the season. Megan’s most infamous move was the blindside of Harry in which she convinced his best ally, Samara, also into betraying him. With a new final three of all girls set in-stone, things looked great for Megan leading into the finale, but after Henry won immunity and Samara was ousted, Megan’s chances at a final two were slim if Henry won immunity, as she wasn’t the best choice to win the final immunity. When Danielle won the final immunity, Megan - - despite Danielle always going to choose her - - took the sympathy route, advising the jury would not vote for her to win, just to make the finals. And when Danielle did take her, Megan found out she really had no jury support, when they tore her apart for not playing a clean social game and making the backstabs personal, all moves that earned her zero votes in the end, placing her as the runner up for the season.

— Danielle McEwan, Sole Survivor, one of the more lesser known stars of the cast, bowling superstar Danielle McEwan came to Australia not only to win but to prove that a bowler can be a physical threat. But beyond that, Danielle proved that she was a triple threat - - strategical, social, and physical. Soon into the game, and knowing Megan’s reality TV past, she warmed up to her to ensure she had someone who could help her navigate through the game. The two formed a final two pact and soon added Henry Czerny, Harry Styles, and Samara Weaving to the mix. Danielle, knowing Megan would play the aggressive game, opted to hide behind her and pull the strings from behind but let Megan take the heat for it all. Danielle was the original one who pointed Samara out as a threat but allowed Megan to vocalize it. Additionally, Danielle was the one who felt Drew Barrymore should go without immunity but again allowed Megan to vocalize it. Her final move that tarnished Megan’s jury shot was when she convinced everyone to send Harry home but yet again allowed Megan to take the fall for it so the blood wasn’t on her hands. Knowing she now had a final two with a goat, Danielle fought hard to reach the finals, convincing Samara to stick by the women to oust Ryan at the top five, and ultimately staying true to Megan, risking a tiebreaker against herself, to advance to the final three. Danielle’s biggest move came when she won the final immunity to vote off Henry as the final juror, leading her into the finale with Megan. When asked about the moves she made, Danielle was able to back up herself as the mastermind by providing details only the mastermind would know from initial conversations on each move. Despite her under-the-radar game play, a few jurors believed she rode Megan’s coattails but again Danielle backed herself as the one pulling all the strings and she allowed Megan to get the blood on her hands. The jury, despite believing Megan did play hard, felt Danielle’s puppetmaster gameplay that was kept hidden from them all was the true golden gameplay and when Megan’s gameplay hurt all the jurors, Danielle was awarded the title of Sole Survivor in a 7-0 vote.
