FINAL THOUGHTS
— UGH, I hate the redemption island swap twist. It really ruined a few of the good people’s games.
— Decent pre-jury, amazing boot list at the merge, obviously an amazing winner that was finally earned.
— I really think this was a good season and realistic, as well.
— I also loved the pairs that made it to the merge, my favorite pairs for sure < 3.
— Lucky and Stormi were totally John and Candice LOL.
— LMAO at Nina’s decision.
ALL STAR POTENTIALS
Cindy Crawford, 9th Place, one of the most dominating competitors in the game, Kaia Gerber’s mom came to Nicaragua to win the game that her daughter had failed to win twice; and she certainly came out swinging, immediately dominating the Loved Ones tribe by being the leader and calling most of the shots in the pre-jury stages. She formed a very close bond with Jim Simpson and the duo vowed to reach the merge with their loved ones and when the foursome accomplished this feat, they controlled the early stages of the game but when Cindy was blindsided at the top ten tribal, Kaia swapped with her on redemption island but upon returning to the game, she realized she was still at the bottom and was unable to recover, being voted back out and this time, losing to her daughter and Glen Powell, landing as the third jury member.
Jim Simpson, 5th Place, the ultimate fan favorite of the game and Sigourney Weaver’s husband, Jim came into the game and immediately knew he’d be an early target, given his age, however he proved to be a valuable asset in the puzzles of challenges and despite receiving votes at multiple tribals, he reached the merge, also with an idol in pocket. He soon acquired a second idol and promised his wife that the fourth time was the charm for her; he was going to make sure she won. He spent his entire game vowing to protect her, however, was unable to realize the unbreakable final four alliance between John, Emily, Ricky, and Grayson and when he and Sigourney were voted off, he heartbreakingly beat her in redemption only to be voted right back out in fifth place.
Emily Blunt, Sole Survivor, America’s Sweetheart and wife to former winner John Krasinski, Emily Blunt did not have an easy journey on Survivor Blood vs Water. Starting out on the weaker Tadhana tribe, she was constantly unaware of the major plans and voted in the minority at every vote despite never herself receiving votes. She lucked out with a tribal shuffle that placed her with her husband and it was this event that gave Emily the momentum to reach the merge with her husband and together, the duo, along with their allies Ricky Martin, Jwan Yosef, and Grayson Dolan, controlled the merge, voting out player left and right and when Emily won critical immunities in the end, the jury viewed this, paired with her more positive and approachable demeanor, as the ultimate reason as to why she should be rewarded with the vote, winning her first season just like her husband John.
