ALL STAR POTENTIALS

Christina Applegate, 12th Place, arguably one of the most robbed castaways of all time, Christina Applegate hit the beach and immediately went into overdrive, forming very quickly into the game a final four deal between she, Frenchy Morgan, Jessica Lange, and Jillian Barberie, an alliance that led the pre-merge stage of the game — thanks to Christina, who essentially “led the sheep to the slaughter” by eliminating the younger women one-by-one and ensuring she would be able to beat her “allies” at the final stages of the game. At the merge, however, Christina’s leader-ways had finally rubbed close her allies the wrong way and despite almost herself getting Frenchy out, the votes were not in her favor and Christina was voted off as the first jury member.

Michael Bublé, 10th Place, another player that many viewers saw as robbed, Michael Bublé came to Samoa with one goal in mind; take the title and play one of the most strategical games in Celebrity Survivor history while doing so. And Michael certainly did everything he could to obtain that goal, starting by leading a very dominant men’s alliance between he, Drew McIntyre, Rob Kardashian, Shia LaBeouf, and Todrick Hall through the pre-jury, despite cutting Shia along the way. Michael controlled every discussion that was had, allowing no room for other game play - - which Rob viewed throughout the game as overbearing - - and it was this behavior, carried through to the merge, that utltimately led Tom Holland an Ten into flipping to the women and Michael was blindsided as juror three when he was unable to win the immunity necklace for a second time to save himself.

Corinne Gfeller, 8th Place, one of the surprise players of the season, Corinne Gfeller hit the beach and immediately bonded more with the men instead of the bickering women and it worked to her advantage living at the same beach as the men, however, when it came down to buckle down, Corinne played things strategegically, sticking with the older women, whom she felt were more stable and reliable - - controversially voting Jennifer Lawrence out first in order to do so. She stuck with the older women for the pre-merge and helped orchestrate Christina Applegate’s blindside with them at the merge, however, after making what appeared to be good decisions throughout the game, she stunningly flipped to the men at the top eight after the promise of a final four - - and when the vote became deadlocked, she even agreed to pull rocks for them - - her final decision in the game, as she pulled the purple rock and became the fifth jury member.

Tom Holland, 7th Place, the fan favorite of the game, Tom Holland - - or “Spidey” as he was nicknamed by the men, came out to Samoa and was a self-admitted fish-out-of-water, not really knowing how to adapt to the wilderness and the outdoors. He instantly bonded with Korean Pop Star Ten and US Pop Star Ross Lynch and the trio agreed to reach the top three together, however, Ross was blindsided in the second vote and Tom and Ten were forced to the minority of their tribe. The two remained positive, vowing to each other they’d make it out of the game and Tom relied on his humor to ensure the likability factor was stronger for him than Ten - - as he wanted to outlast everyone even if it meant losing a close ally. The duo, however, lucked out by a tribal shuffle and advanced to the merge, where they ifnamously both turned on the majority men’s alliance to side with the women, however, when things got down to them and the girls, Ten’s physical prowess proved to be too much for Tom and when he was unable to win the necklace like Ten, his torch was the next to be extinguished, landing in seventh place.

Ten, 6th Place, another fan favorite, Ten, the K-Pop Star, came into the game and was immediately a polarizing star - - shocking his tribe with his outdoor abilities and knowledge as well as his insane physical strength - - being a vital role in Manono’s three pre-swap immunity wins. Despite being an asset, however, Ten lost a close ally Ross early on and was forced with Tom Holland to the bottom of the tribe against a strong majority alliance, however, when the duo were lucky enough to outlast a tribal shuffle and advance to the merge, Ten proved to everyone he was a force to be reckoned with, winning >>>>> individual immunities as well as blindsiding the majority male alliance by siding with the women. Like Ten’s pre-merge journey, however, despite many successes, he was met with failure and when the women were an unbreakable bond, Ten was the next one up to leave the game when he was not wearing the immunity necklace, placing sixth.

Jessica Lange, 5th Place, the oldest female in the game, Jessica Lange came to Samoa and admitted to her tribe on day one that she planned on performing her best but would likely not be a physical asset to them and almost quit the game on day one, however, Christina Applegate - - wanting Jessica to be her ultimate goat - - talked her out of it and Jessica joined the majoirty alliance with Christina, Frenchy, and Jillian where she sat pretty for the majority of the game, not ever being seen as a physical threat. Despite not being a dominant player in the game, Jessica stuck by her alliance with the women and never strayed from them, however, she was seen as the biggest social threat when Rob Kardashian won a clutch immunity and her alliance, despite Jessica’s loyalty, turned on her and she placed fifth.

Rob Kardashian, 4th Place, arguably one of the biggest surprises of the season, Rob Kardashian came to Samoa with one goal in mind - - make a bigger name for himself than he has ever done before - - and he certainly did that, performing the best out of all the Kardashian/Jenner clan to have played thus far. Rob instantly bonded with the majority players in the game, notably Shia whom he viewed as his best friend in the game, and the two rode their majority through the pre-merge before Shia was blindsided by them for being too eccentric and when Rob lost his other two allies shortly into the merge, he soon realized the alliance of power was actually very weak. He infamously found an idol that he used as leverage in multiple votes to gain access to a voting bloc and he rode this until the top five, winning a critical immunity and forcing the women to turn on each other, however, after failing to win the final immunity, his game came to an end when the women stuck together, earning him the “fan favorite” fourth place edit.

Nina Dobrev, 3rd Place, the underdog of the season, Nina Dobrev landed on the island and instantly bonded with those around her age - - Libby Vincek, Emma Roberts, and Jennifer Lawrence - - however, it proved to not be the smartest choice, after Nina saw all three of her allies leave within the first four rounds. Nina was lucky to survive until the tribal swap, where she quickly became an ally to the majority women’s alliance and they survived to the merge where Nina infamously attempted to orchestrate Frenchy’s exit with Christina where it backfired and caused the now-viral video, “Frenchy vs Nina and Christina” that led to Christina’s blindside but Nina was able to reconcile things with the women, despite flipping on them once more to banish Corinne via purple rocks, where she survived to the final tribal council but lost to the other two players as she was seen as a flip-flopper that didn’t have a consistent game that merited a win.

Frenchy Morgan, Runner Up, one of the most outspoken players of the season, Frenchy Morgan entered and immediately rubbed all of her tribesmates - - even her allies - - the wrong way with her blunt attitude and crazy antics, infamously “accidentally” pouring 3/4 rice into the river as well as flashing the men in the gross food challenge to help her tribe win immunity. But it wasn’t all craziness with Frenchy, as she was a key member of the majority women’s alliance and pulled off one of the biggest moves of the season by turning the tables on Christina Applegate to save herself at the merge vote, a move that many viewed as the game changing move, however, Frenchy’s social game was lacking and despite sticking to the women to pick the other players off and reach the end, Jillians’ game was seen as more well-rounded and Frenchy lost in the end, landing as the runner up.

Jillian Barberie, Sole Survivor, one of the the best strategical players to grace Celebrity Survivor, Jillian Barberie came to Samoa and stuck to an initial pre-meditated game play the entire time; stick with a majority alliance but don’t call the shots until the merge and she did just that, riding the waves of the majority women’s alliance between she, Jessica Lange, Christina Applegate, and Frenchy Morgan, allowing Christina to take the reigns as the “leader,” a role Jillian knew would place an uneccesary target on her - - which proved to be the case, as Christina fell by the wayside early intot hte merge. With Christina out, Jillian immediately took on the role of the leader, maintaining the majority with Jessica and Frenchy - - as well as manipulating Tom Holland and Ten to side with them to take out the men one-by-one, helping Jillian reach the final three where the jury could not argue that Jillian played the best game and was rewarded the win, despite losing the vote of Jessica Lange, her ally whom she backstabbed at the top five.
